This weeks video I did a day trip to Guatape! Guatapé, nestled in the Andean region of northwest Colombia is renowned for its picturesque houses. The town is bordered by the expansive Peñol-Guatapé Reservoir, a bustling hub for water sports enthusiasts. Southwest of Guatapé stands the Piedra del Peñol (Penol Stone), with a little work and 700 steps you are able to have a beatiful panoramic view of the area. Included in my day trip was breakfast and lunch, an animal farm, a boat ride and visits to the town of Guatape and the Penol Stone. I’ve already learned so much about Colombia’s history and culture and I’m excited to learn more. Checkout the whole video to see how how my day trip was to Guatape 🇨🇴

Guatape was so much fun! My tour was very similar, less the animal farm. I made it to the top of the stone, but was sucking air pretty hard by the time I got there. 😂
I had a great time too! I was also exhausted after getting to the top of the Peñol 😂 but I definitely think the view was worth the work!
Very cool vlog. I plan to visit. I usually fly drones and have other small cameras. Any advice?
Thank you! I've never used a drone before but I think the views you could capture from that would look really cool! Just be careful with your equipment since Colombia is known for a lot of robberies. I didn't have any problems with filming but just make sure to be aware of your surroundings! Hope that helps 😊
