As a Chinese American watching and listening to Chinese singers, I've never seen or heard anyone quite like 唐艺 from anywhere. She's a force that has gotten the attention of quite a number of people. Looking forward to seeing and hearing more from her.
Would be interesting if this was posted as “Singer A and Singer B, do you have a preference on their singing?” to see the reactions of English speakers who do not know 张碧晨 and 唐艺.
Not sure what you mean, there's clearly reverb when 張碧晨 was singing and there are a number of places where she did not sing in tune. At the beginning with the low notes, she had trouble with them - probably because they are at the low end limits of her vocal range.
@0:08, @0:11, @0:19, @1:43 one can barely hear 张碧晨 and her lips are touching the microphone at those times, she seems to have no power at those low notes but one can clearly hear her higher notes in close proximity to those low notes so there are no discernable issues with her microphone. @0:30 1 can clearly hear the reverb to enhance her voice. @1:07 she's clearly at the sweet spot of her vocal range. There are also a number of locations where she did not hit the notes cleanly. Now to compare with 唐藝's duet starting @3:14: they are in a different key, sounds to be 2 or 3 notes higher. She's noticeably clearer and had no trouble with the low notes at the start. The choic of a higher key means both she and her partner 苏见信 would have to sing higher than 张碧晨. I'm quite impressed with 苏见信 because most men cannot sing that high. To my ear 唐藝 hits the notes cleaner and has more control over her dynamic range. Her voice is also fuller or more complex than 张碧晨. I saw someone commented that maybe they could have collaborated and practiced a little more on their duet because there were a few places where 唐藝 overpowered 苏见信 (e.g. @5:57 ) while fairly balanced elswhere (e.g. @6:34). The fact that 张碧晨 was the original singer to this song would explain why more of the commenters prefer her over the duet. For people who have not seen any of them perform this song, my hunch is that more will prefer the duet (especially in the West).
I did not know anything about 苏见信 until I saw the duet so I searched for him on RUclips. Found "信11 One Night In Beijing" from 10 years ago - pretty cool 👍

唐藝像是驕傲而豁達的女俠，不回望來時路。張碧晨則像孤傲的公主，回頭路已被阻斷，只能拚著一腔孤勇向前走的感覺，個人覺得都好聽，而張碧晨詮釋得比較貼合劇情

唐艺的声音都是比较平衡和稳的一个状态而张碧晨的声音比较有代入感，尤其是副歌的时候，高音带着力量感。
張碧晨應該跟信一起唱才對 這樣就是完美加上更完美了
兩人合作a段是互補的感覺因為要配合彼此的key可能就有點不順 但到b段達到最契合 信b段的開頭鋪成超好聽 接著副歌焉的的一個主調信後面墊音 後面這整段超完美
