@@mattsully2238 this my new thing for sure. A real reason to train and stay in shape with an opportunity to meet lots of cool people. Wish these were around when I was single. All that sweating and close proximity followed up by a bit of boozing. The ones around camping grounds/ resorts gotta be wild after dark.
Knowing your hands ripped on rope climb, there's a lot of race left with some serious grip stuff. Do you carry bandaids or did you just have a rough go?
It was weird, the rope climb gave me burns coming down, which I felt and knew blisters were coming, but the skin stayed on. It was only on Black Ops, on the monkey bars, where the skin ripped off. Very strange for me. At that point I just kept going. We carry bandaids but usually for foot issues. I didn't put any on until we got back to the vehicle. All good.
How would you rate this compared to rugged maniac? I need a new ocr now
Great question. Bonefrog is definitely more challenging than Rugged Maniac. It is closer to Savage Race or a Spartan Sprint. For me, Ruged Maniac might be more similar to a shorter version of Tough Mudder. Bonefrog is certainly a good time and worth checking out, especially if you are looking for a more physically challenging event.
