- The new W6 Baitcaster reels have been developed in Denmark and tested by Team Westin anglers Luc Coppens, Dietmar Isaiasch, Daniel Nilsson, Jörgen Larsson, Toon van Ham, Thom Hunt andy many more!
Available in sizes 50, 100, 200 & 300, in left- and right-handed models as well as SSG (SlowSpeed), MSG (MediumSpeed) and HSG (HighSpeed) versions.
Available in stores from Jan. 1st 2024.

I hope it won't be a high price... I have Westin fishing rods and would love to test the baitcaster but it's new territory for Westin so shouldn't start with high prices as you have strong and proven competition... Anyway I glad for news for Westin 💪🎣

Looks like a doyo factory reel. That means it wil be the same as a good quality lews or abugarcia
Saw in another video that its made in china so probably not as good as a doyo reel
@@jonasmostrom9636 what a bummer. I work in a tackle shop myself and we have had them for a while. but not one sold yet. People still go for the big 3 and I don't blame them. then that baitcaster certainly comes from the same factory as the Savage Gear baitcasters?
@@mona-vdB Its hard to know for sure who makes the reels since most companies never even mentions that its oem but takes all credit themselves. Ive read on forums though that many people think its the same factory as savage gear. Hopefully someones gonna buy one and screw it apart but not me. For that amount of money I can get a much better Daiwa or Shimano
II was curious. So I got one but sent it back immediately. Quality did not match my expectation. The brake centrifugal pins can jam the spool if they protrude completely. You have to push it back a little before closing the housing cover. The gear box is very large i.m.o.. The locking mechanism on the housing lid protrudes pointedly so that it can open accidentally if it gets caught on something. I guess Westin has still some homework to be done.

Another OEM doyo reel... why not do a colab with Shimano or Daiwa so I have an actual reason to spend 300€ on it.
