I was surprised to see the card with the Garuda bird. A late friend was traveling in Southeast Asia many years ago and he bought an oil lamp for me that was shaped like a Garuda. He was told that the Garuda bird is the Indonesian symbol of unending creativity. Being an artist/designer, he thought it would be perfect for me.
