For those who say this game is crap because of graphics, this is fanservice for all of those of us who grew up with Peanuts comics. It wasn't made to appease people who think graphics are everything, and the simpler style just fits with the theme of the game. If you want graphics, there are countless games for PS4 that deliver graphics in spades.
my explanation of how the bosses relate to the kids in that level: Peppermint Patty: literally just her head, also baseballs. Linus: the balls had jack-o-lantern faces because of the Great Pumpkin. Lucy: basically just giant robo-Lucy. Franklin: i have no idea how Franklin would relate to the Red Baron. Pigpen: Pigpen is always dirty, so, sludge monster. Schroeder: pianos.
Imagine that Schroeder is like "Sorry Snoopy, but I don't wanna lose this game of Hide and seek, so I guess I'll have to kill you with my giant hands!"
What on earth is up with that third boss? That lighting makes it look like they forgot to use the level's final render. Also, that robot thing. *shiver*

Comparison to Sonic: The jungle area reminds me of Hill Top or Angel Island. The desert one reminds me of Sandopolis and Casino Night Zone since it has pinball like platforms. Skies Above Paris reminds me of Sky Chase Zone for obvious reasons.

I think i get it, they made the robots based on his friends for the bosses, like, Peppermint Patty must LOVE baseball, and she knocks at you those balls you, and you gotta jump on the trampoline to throw those balls at her. And Lucy, every single minute she has a tempo tantrum, so she's a giant robot trying to run over Snoopy!

This game has the most nightmare fuel boss fights. The only four that aren’t is the Pinball King, the Red Barron, the Slime Monster, and the Piano.
