Being that it has Wilkinson pickups then it's an earlier model, meaning that the fretboard is probably rosewood rather than pau ferro. I did wonder when I saw it because pau ferro usually looks lighter than rosewood.
@@ronnienose8608 I have a pau ferro fingerboard that looks just as dark as rosewood but yes, this one definitely is from the rosewood time, 2017 or earlier.
Wanted something unique, saw your review and ordered one. Swapped out the pickups for Duncan hot rod set added Gotoh locking tuners and a GFS roller bridge and Graphtech nut. Put some DiMarzio 500k pots in and Dunlop strap locks. Total cost: 475 U.S. dollars. Can't stop playing the damn thing!!! Love your channel Brent!
25.5 scale with hot humbuckers was my guitar from 1979 to 1993. I still have the pickups from 1979 so I am going to put those on. They each cost the same as the guitar. The 40 looked like a good choice for them.. It dopes appear to be the case we can build a pro instrument for about 400 notes.
Tried it saturday, a friend bought it as her first electric. It is ok, but fret leveling was sub optimal with dead notes and real bad action etc. No luck maybe. Will do a leveling for her some day to help out as the sound and finish are quite nice and the guitar look nice aswell.
Cool review! The fretboard is blackwood btw, not pau ferro. I know it says on the site(and even some boxes it came in). But its blackwood. The strings touch my bridge as well before they go on the saddles, but it doesnt do anything bad to sustain(on mine at least, and hearing yours id say the same). I only upgraded the nut on this, it was plastic and too low(just like yours!). I put on a graptech tusq nut.

I thought T-type guitars was ugliest well known guitars. Then I bought this one partly chosen by destiny. Now I´m loving this guitar, couldn´t be happier. It´s one of most beautifull guitar I´ve seen. Plenty to like but you don´t get champagne with beer budget.
I just got this guitar and have a question for you Brent. Did your string ferrules pop off easily as you remove the strings the way mine did??? Never had a guitar where this happened so I'm curious. Solid review and playing!
No it didn't. That's a real shame. They do have a good returns policy but personally I would plug the screw hole with a tooth pick and screw em back in. Hope its helpful to you :)
I have seen that question about strings resting on the angle of the bridge but cannot truly understand how it should be so different from them resting on the ferules in the body. I believe this is just looking for a problem that does not manifest itself in any way.
Would u recommend the HB Fusion HH or the HB TE-40 with DNAfx GiT? I WANT the Fusion but I feel I will get more bang for the buck with the TE-40/DNA combo. What do u guys think?
Hi ya,! from Italy, a questions for you: this cheap guitar is good for beginner like me? And is suitable for recording songs in studio session or concert? Thanks I’ve enjoyed your video so funny!
Thanks for filming and sharing as always... gootar looks lovely after your expertise attention...... lovely knobs !!!! Lovely sound (complete with "farting" expressions) LOL ..... See ya @7pm ..... M&MX / Mark T X

I am confused between Harley Benton TE-40 TBK Deluxe Series or Harley Benton TE-90FLT what do you recommend
A tough one may be both if you can :0

The string resting on the bridge should not be the case. I lowered the bridge to correct the action and the bridge does not contact the string.

Yeah you are probs right dies look a little odd but I found no issue when playing it.
Lovely... I'm after the blue semi hollow TE90, with same pickups (Roswell, that is). Almost had sevcond thoughts. Almost...
ahhh lovely
Lovely review Brent keep well
