- I’m pretty sure it was obvious just how I felt about this action figure throughout the course of this review. You guys more than likely picked it up without me having to say anything after the first segment. This is an action figure that I highly recommend adding to your collection because it is completely outstanding. I enjoyed this figure so much more than I was expecting to and now it has me looking forward to what is next to come. Mafex is no stranger to killing it when it comes to Spiderman figures, but this Medicom Toy No. 143 The Amazing Spider-Man: Ben Reilly Comic Ver. Action Figure is on a whole Nother level. Whatever you do, do not make the mistake of waiting on this figure because I can almost guarantee you that you will regret it. Take my advice. 2:38 Putting those two figures side-by-side one with the custom head just highlights how Medicom needs to go back and redo their Mafex Comic Spider-man and give him more accurate body proportions with a 2.0 update.
Hopefully they do remake the original. Even if all they do is up the plastic qual, its a big improvement imo
@@admir1136 Absolutely, the figure looks exactly like the prototype pictures. They have definitely upped their game in terms of quality control, but they still have to work on the durability of the figures.

I'm a HUGE fan of character concept and design, and growing up I always loved this design didn't matter about the story I just think this was the better conceptual look for a modern SPIDERMAN, this was a great review ACE and hopefully BBTS comes through with mine and you get that 2nd cause that was rough seeing your first copy have knee issues.
Mafex needs to offer spare joints with the figures, 2 wrist, both elbow and both knees. Busting a joint just by looking at it after being 100 bucks lighter is soul crushing
Really hype for this. I was like 10 or 11 when the Clone Saga was going on so I always loved this suit.
This is finally on the way for me. 90s Spidey is what I grew up reading and is peak Spider-Man for me. I want Scarlett Spidey with soft goods hoodie and Kane, for sure.. In his 90s glory.. Black/blue suit.. Purple/pink poncho.. Scared up mask with long hair.. I need it.

The body is a full retool of the first spidey, they just added sculpt on top of the original body
Youre not lyin, i want a Kaine Spiderman with the spider talons and Blue Hoodie scarlet, if the hood is soft good over a red body id go nuts🤩
Nah, the only reused parts are the 2 masks, the thighs and the crotch. Everything else is brand new sculpt. Not even like, new sculpt applied on top of old parts, it's really 100% new sculpt
@@julienmorozof8082 usually in factory’s they have generally sculpt then for each figure they retool them and add the sculpt on top or in the the body and sense this is digitally sculpt that’s very easy to do
The head with the big round eyes would be perfect for a ultimate Spider-Man on the upcoming classic Spider-Man

Please don't put up with poor QA especially when you're paying a premium for it. I understand your love for accurate aesthetically pleasing comic figure, I do. In fact, 90% of my collection is Mafex comic line but I'm a smart customer and I won't let sloppy customer treatment slide. Mafex collectors have some of the cult-like mentality that I've ever witnessed, defending them without any proper reason. That mentality won't help in the long run and only damage the hobby. Nobody wanna steps up their game if customer just keep outright buying any shit they throw out and PRAISE them for it.

I’m getting this but I don’t have any knowledge of him besides just the suit as I never read the comics. Everything is know is based on the cartoon series video games movies and in casual passing as far as Spider-Man lore in general.
