@@jngo102 Can't promise anything so maybe :) I suggest the 32blit discord for news since someone there has already ported it to the 32blit/Picovision/web browser
This is awesome, very impressive, and beautiful too. You were the main inspiration and motivation that made me finally do a 3D engine myself for the Pico too even if far less advanced (ruclips.net/video/HFueb5DTc1c/видео.html). It is so great to see that this kind of 3D is possible on this device and you are the one that showed it was possible. Thank you again.
@@helloworld-256 thanks! Saw your work pop on the pico subreddit which really gave me Virtua Racing vibes 😁. Great job 👍 I did not expect to inspire someone else put in so much time and effort but it's really neat to see it happen ☺️
@@lavarails Thank you so very much! 🤗 In fact to be precise I had the code laying around for years from passion and it was improving very slowly but it was there, I did not start the project for the Pico (target was GP2X), but seeing your work made me want to use it on this device because I think it is a very good fit for what I have done and it could fill a niche! Someone said, when 3D accelerators came to PC, young programmers that wanted to live the software rendering experience could move to mobile development to use their skills. I thought there would be no second second chance. Today software rendering developers have one more chance to apply some skills : microcontrollers. Likely the last this time! Probably we will soon have either fast video capabilities, openglES or hybrid designs with a powerful SoC plus OS and one or many hard realtime micros in the same package, that is already happening. Anyway thanks for your kind words! And yes Virtua Racing is the inspiration!
@@helloworld-256 Yeah microcontrollers are likely the last realm of the software based rasterizer. Even fixed point is going the way of the dodo since many have powerful FPUs. Its really cool to see my project give you the energy to complete and publish yours ☺️. It may not have everything implemented but just getting it this far done is massive and might get others to do some interesting things as well👍
Well done! This is very impressive. The PicoSystem is a powerful little nugget.
This is extremly impressive!
Imagine you would have made this in the 2000s, this would be a AAA title. Like seriously.
LSD Lucid Dream Simulator Lite
very cool and impressive!
Now it just needs bleeps and bloops :)
This is really cool! Any plans on porting this to a system based on the new RP2350 once Pimoroni or somebody else develops one?

Retro computing on steroids!!! Maybe I should start a new hobby.
