That is a MONO build, it could be stereo with just another conection, i believe souder left and right on the head and ground to the tab of the head instead of take it off, and align the head properly.

I did something very similar some years ago, only it was before bluetooth. I think I used it with a cd player to connect to my car stereo which only had a tape deck. I was surprised at how well it actually worked. I also used a tape head as a guitar pickup.

I made one of those 20 years ago when my multidisc stopped working in my car. I had a top of the range poineer head unit. The the thing got stuck in the head unit for many years. I found it the other day and managed to remove it by spinning the gears manually. Now it is back to working condition. Keeping it as a spare. Might add bluetooth to the cassette after watching this. Great idea.

This is really cool. Of course, if that radio had an aux input, you would just stick that Bluetooth device into it and then be all set. It is easy to get enamored with the sound of a specific speaker inside of an old radio, so this would be helpful in order to listen to music from streaming on your speaker. Thanks for sharing.
A nice adapter! One issue is that it may not work with all tape players. Semi auto and fully automatic decks need to see tape movement from the supply side of the cartrige to determine if tape has ended to switch play direction or to auto eject the cartrige.
@@jjani6138 the deck needs to see the unwind spool being rotated by the tape being pulled off it by the takeup spool, or it thinks the tape is at the end. You could put a rubber band round both spools to make it work.
Over ten years ago I intended to build one of these. I bought a Bluetooth headset on eBay (actually two because I won two auctions for the same thing) and I was going to open it up and splice it into a 3.5mm to cassette adapter. I never got around to putting up the effort. But the headphones were nice.

50р на алике , 500р с Bluetooth. Поэтому крайне сомнительно. Раньше скажем так до доступности интернета было бы полезно, сейчас думаю устарело, блин 50р всего вместо 30 минут неспешной работы.
About 15 years ago, a SONY cassette appeared on sale called a line-in. It simulates belt rotation and tension for all cassette systems. A wire with a jack can be used as you like. And you don't have to disassemble anything.

Your creativity is very nice. This can work on models which have no input or output jacks or other options. The model you have shown already has a 3.5mm mic input jack. You could've simply inserted the bluetooth there without needing to mod anything. Also, most old tape recorders will usually have a mic input jack.
Use to be able to get a tape similar to this that had a wire hanging off the cassette to plug into ANY small headphone jack. I use it in my vehicle. Plug my mp3 player into it and hear it on the car stereo. 🙂
1) надо было сразу стерео делать 2) катушки необходимо связать друг с другом пассиком. Иначе будет срабатывать автостоп. 3) вообще непонятно зачем это. Если блютусколонку сделать из старого барахла, то проще тогда вообще выкинуть всю механику и блютус-модуль припаять непосредственно к усилителю. Вместо лентопротяжного механизма поместится приличный аккумулятор, с которым устройство будет работать несколько дней на природе.
Но с другой стороны, если бы делать с завода изначально BlueTooth трансмиттер в виде оригинального форм-фактора кассеты, то и аккумулятор туда можно больше поместить, и брать с собой на дачу и подключать к другим устройствам через AUX и в виде кассеты вполне можно. Так сказать универсальное устройство.

А ещё мне кажется что туда можно добавить функцию зарядки (ну или хотя бы работы в качестве BlueTooth трансмиттера передавая звук на кассетный магнитофон).

Back in the day I used to salvage old cassette players and stereos from the garbage and convert them to simple guitar amplifiers. I would removed the leads from the playback head and solder the leads to a 1/4 inch guitar jack. I would remove or snip the leads to the play motor to reduce battery consumption and electronic noise. They worked great as battery powered, portable, small, no frills practice amps for a very poor young guitarist. I also converted old tube powered console turn tables to guitar amps. These had such a warm, golden, buttery smooth tone. Sadly, as an experimenter, these never lasted very long as I would push the tubes far beyond their design specifications. If I could find one now, this was all 30 years ago using equipment already 20 plus years old, I would be much more careful with it and add a circuit that would limit the input to something the tubes could handle to preserve the life of the unit.

Дело в том, что при записи для расширения динамического диапазона в АЧХ сигнала вносятся предискажения на НЧ( 3180 мкс) и ВЧ( 120мкс для лент Тип1 на скорости 4.76 см/с),.. При воспроизведение записи УВ( усилитель воспроизведения) аппарата производит обратное преобразование... Как-то так. Удачи Вам! З.Ы. В данной конструкции отсутствуют цепи первичной( при записи) коррекции сигнала, при этом вторичная коррекция( при воспроизведение) работает. З.Ы.2 Сигнал даже не монофонический, - Один из каналов( Левый или правый),..
При настолько кривой установке головки про звук вообще можно не думать. Учитывая ширину зазоров магнитных головок, которые нужно совместить с минимальным допуском. И ещё, в нормальном аппарате стоящий подкатушечник вызывает срабатывание автостопа.
A lot of the older MP3 adapters had the reels geared together. Some tape players would stop the tape, if one of the reels stopped moving. I suppose this was to minimize how much of the tape got eaten up, if there was a malfunction.

Выглядит мерзко: можно было взять непрозрачный корпус и не паяльником выплавить отверстия, а с помощью дриммера аккуратно вырезать; 2. Блютуз - в целом для передачи качественной музыки - такое себе... Хотя если losy-форматы типа mp3 - то вполне. 3. Звучать это всё равно будет убого, тем более что этот баклан использовал монофоническую головку, которая будет передавать всего один канал, а не два (что необходимо для стерео). Так что в мусорку.
С дыркой хохма, да... Типа она ни разу от туда не выпадет. Ну а вообще расчитано это для применения в автомобилях ну или просто если хочется с телефона поставить музыку на хай-фай-комплексе, где есть кассетная дека. Только такую херотень я бы и близко не подпустил бы к своей кассетной деке.

Совершенно верно. Гораждо лучше припаять выход блютуз-приёмника ко входу УНЧ. Звук гораздо лучше будет, так как усилитель воспроизведения магнитофона имеет неравномерную частотную характеристику. И гораздо меньше геморроя при этом будет.

@@Zato4ka я уже писал выше - для автомагнитолы (у кого она ещё стоит как у меня) лучше всего работает трансмиттер в прикуриватель, а этой кассетой просто добьётся механика магнитолы. А ещё стереозвук трансмиттера не сравнится с монозвуком того что сделал автор (видно, что он моно головку припаял) Так же я пользовался "кассетой" с али звук хуже чем через трансмиттер Ну и последний аргумент - сел акб кассеты и дальше едешь без музыки А теперь попробуй привести аргументы в пользу данной приблуды с учётом моих аргументов.

Благо, подавляющее большинство устройств его имели, и путем несложных манипуляций с паяльником изготавливается беспроводной "свисток" позволяющий подать на старое устройство цифровой сигнал. Естественным путем, так сказать, а не через магнитный зазор с сопутствующими искажениями и наводками. Впрочем, если самоцель сего поделия именно в демонстрации технического извращения - то да, видос зачетный.

You can do other mods to eliminate the battery, an internal power route. Make a metal contact in the cassette deck where the cassette slots into,, which is connected to an internal power line(find suitable power source from circuit board, then have a metal contact wired up to the Bluetooth module within the cassette housing. Put the cassette into the deck so both contacts touch each other to provide power to the Bluetooth cassette module.

Some auto-stop mechanisms will stop playing the tape if the supply reel isn't turning. To solve that, you need to connect the reels with either a belt or gears.
My previous car's cassette deck had a means of overriding that. I think holding some button while inserting the tape would cause the mechanism not to try turning the tape but simply feed audio from the head, which reduced motor noise even when using geared adapters.

Не будет долго работать. Магнитофон будет выключать кассету. Ибо одна катушка будет крутиться, а другая будет стоять. Надо было их резинкой соединить. Да и звук будет не очень, надо будет головку отвёрткой настраивать.
Back in the 60's when small, portable reel to reels were popular, I discovered I could remove the tape head and attach a speaker to the two wires and make a little amplifier. I decided to bug my sisters room by taking small copper wire unwound from an automotive voltage regulator and run it out my window to my sisters room. Некоторым магнитофонам нужно,что бы вторая бобина тоже крутилась. Так как будет срабатывать автостоп. Можно было зделать надфилем паз и пасик натянуть на две бобины.

I can see 3 issues with this build. 1. Use a stereo head for stereo sound. 2. How do you recharge the battery? 3. Most tape players would stop and error out since the second reel is not turning.

Most things that use cassettes are mono anyways. The only thing that will help is high end stereos or home hifi systems that still use tape.

Да уж пихают этот блютус куда не попадя, по мне магнитофон точнее магнитола итак самодостаточна как аппарат хоть кассеты нынче никто и не слушает.
Не в блютузе дело, а в кассете, которую вставляешь в магнитофон и она играет.

A lot of the older MP3 adapters had the reels geared together. Some tape players would stop the tape, if one of the reels stopped moving. I suppose this was to minimize how much of the tape got eaten up, if there was a malfunction.

@@xNejk так или иначе: устройство убогое чуть больше чем полностью: 1. Выглядит мерзко: можно было взять непрозрачный корпус и не паяльником выплавить отверстия, а с помощью дриммера аккуратно вырезать; 2. Блютуз - в целом для передачи качественной музыки - такое себе... Хотя если losy-форматы типа mp3 - то вполне. 3. Звучать это всё равно будет убого, тем более что этот баклан использовал монофоническую головку, которая будет передавать всего один канал, а не два (что необходимо для стерео). Так что в мусорку.
С дыркой хохма, да... Типа она ни разу от туда не выпадет. Ну а вообще расчитано это для применения в автомобилях ну или просто если хочется с телефона поставить музыку на хай-фай-комплексе, где есть кассетная дека. Только такую херотень я бы и близко не подпустил бы к своей кассетной деке.
@@dj_bob да кассета и так особо качества не выдает.. мне вот не нравится что очень мелкую батарею всунул, хотя у него километр свободный места.. и кнопку какую-то налепил.. мог о какой-то подзарядке от вращение подумать или хотя бы пробуждение от вращения..
@nik pol, вот тут-то Вы правы. Постебаться всякий может, а вот придумать такое, увы, нужен пытливый ум. А применение - это уже вторично. Сколько открытий таким образом пробивалось в жизнь. ... В общем, молодец умелец, нетривиальное решение с виду просто вроде бы и не очень полезной штуки нашёл.

Совершенно верно. Гораждо лучше припаять выход блютуз-приёмника ко входу УНЧ. Звук гораздо лучше будет, так как усилитель воспроизведения магнитофона имеет неравномерную частотную характеристику. И гораздо меньше геморроя при этом будет.

Цепь коррекции АЧХ магнитных головок делать в таком случае нужно, а то низов не будет и перегрузка по ВЧ. Проще в линейный вход подключить.
У меня китайская "касета" с миниджеком по такому поинципу- ничего в ней внутри нет и нормально выдаёт низа (даже черезчур)
Причём здесь линейный вход? Фишка именно в кассете.

@@Zato4ka я уже писал выше - для автомагнитолы (у кого она ещё стоит как у меня) лучше всего работает трансмиттер в прикуриватель, а этой кассетой просто добьётся механика магнитолы. А ещё стереозвук трансмиттера не сравнится с монозвуком того что сделал автор (видно, что он моно головку припаял)
Так же я пользовался "кассетой" с али звук хуже чем через трансмиттер
Ну и последний аргумент - сел акб кассеты и дальше едешь без музыки
А теперь попробуй привести аргументы в пользу данной приблуды с учётом моих аргументов.
Вот бы ещё оно питалась от катушек вот это было бы круто)

А еще проще, не заниматься порчей нынче раритетных кассет, и угробливанием головок устройства которые могут быть повреждены при запихивании в механизм такой варварской "поделки" а включить мозг, и поискать на устройстве гнездо для подключения внешнего источника звукового сигнала. Благо, подавляющее большинство устройств его имели, и путем несложных манипуляций с паяльником изготавливается беспроводной "свисток" позволяющий подать на старое устройство цифровой сигнал. Естественным путем, так сказать, а не через магнитный зазор с сопутствующими искажениями и наводками. Впрочем, если самоцель сего поделия именно в демонстрации технического извращения - то да, видос зачетный.

You can do other mods to eliminate the battery, an internal power route.
Make a metal contact in the cassette deck where the cassette slots into,, which is connected to an internal power line(find suitable power source from circuit board, then have a metal contact wired up to the Bluetooth module within the cassette housing. Put the cassette into the deck so both contacts touch each other to provide power to the Bluetooth cassette module.

Some auto-stop mechanisms will stop playing the tape if the supply reel isn't turning. To solve that, you need to connect the reels with either a belt or gears.

My previous car's cassette deck had a means of overriding that. I think holding some button while inserting the tape would cause the mechanism not to try turning the tape but simply feed audio from the head, which reduced motor noise even when using geared adapters.

К магнитной головке нужно было припаять общий провод.
У него моно головка, если припаять общий, то один канал вылетает
Не будет долго работать. Магнитофон будет выключать кассету. Ибо одна катушка будет крутиться, а другая будет стоять. Надо было их резинкой соединить.
Да и звук будет не очень, надо будет головку отвёрткой настраивать.
Такое чудо идеально только для китайских магнитолок 90х-2000х годов, когда не было линейных входов. Ну и конечно же FM трансмитер.

Back in the 60's when small, portable reel to reels were popular, I discovered I could remove the tape head and attach a speaker to the two wires and make a little amplifier. I decided to bug my sisters room by taking small copper wire unwound from an automotive voltage regulator and run it out my window to my sisters room. I would then connect and hide the speaker in her room by hanging it off her curtain rod. 😄😄

Можно было зделать надфилем паз и пасик натянуть на две бобины.
Или нажать паузу для откл.авттостопа

Не будет он в режиме AUX ничего крутить вообще, и отключаться не бу́дет, и вообще клавишу можно не нажимать
20 лет назад у меня был адаптер такой заводской. Кассета с вывод jack 3,5. Вставлял в магнитолу кассетную в машине и подключал cd плеер 😂

1. Use a stereo head for stereo sound.
2. How do you recharge the battery?
