Both you guys simply amaze me. As fickle as the day is long. Joe Douglas is by far the worst GM. Don’t take my word for it, just look at the record. If you don’t believe the 26-57 record then ask yourself this….. Why did the Jets need Aaron Rodgers? Why did the Jets need to bring in a OL that has not played a full season since 2015? Why do the Jets need another WR? Playing 4D chess???? Come on Ryan!!! After literally every Jets game you for your hands in your face and you’re sitting there wondering how the jets always lose.
The math is this. Joe Douglas has had 5 years of free agents and draft picks. He has miserably failed. In a perfect world it’s tough being the Jets cause we play on a terrible field, have a harassing media, are in a huge payroll tax state, cost of living is high and the weather sucks. We have to hit 400 in the draft and Douglas is batting less than 100.
We compete against 15 other teams to make the playoffs. 6 make it and 10 don’t and we have not made it more than any other team I. Football and in all major sports.
So please…I’m begging you…. Stop the Joe Douglas is great and in JD we trust and the let JD cook bullshit. If you or I had the same results in our job we’d be canned. Be better than that!!!!

Hi Ryan! Lets GO!!! 2 things I like about this trade---One, the tradeoff is actually genius. We did give up a 3rd round pick(conditional) in 2026. That seems like peanuts to me. Thats so far away from what were doing right now, which is contending for the SuperBowl. Second, we are getting a player who is at his prime who has more production than Bryce Huff. Overall a better player. I'm excited for this Ryan I really am. I just havent told my face yet😂

Looks like another very good swap by Douglas whose moves range from iffy to great, but none of this matters because he's trying to cover up the fact that the Jets don't have a real OC/play caller. We saw what happened last season with Rodgers as the de facto OC. Maybe that was a fluke, but, even with a better OL, I'd give the 40 year old a max of 7 or 8 games. Tyrod is fine, too, but he is not a play caller. Jets are like a dysfunctional family in total denial of the empty vodka bottles hiding in their linen closet. After 10 games, the bottles will fall out and smash all over the floor providing them with another top 10 draft pick and another 5 year rebuild after Douglas and Saleh are fired because they refused to address the REAL weakness on the team. The fact that guys they are try to hire as Asst. OC's are turning them down right and left is the canary in the coal mine.

@JetsTalk247 Unfortunately for the Jets, there's no such thing as bullet-proof in the NFL. Over the course of a season, every weakness gets exposed. It's just a matter of when. Last season, the Jets were exposed after 4 plays. That was really extreme, but their biggest weaknesses weren't even QB or O Line. It was their inability to evaluate, adapt and adjust when bad things happen. Other teams had QB'S go down and still made the playoffs. They still haven't acknowledged that Hackett is a major weakness. It may take 5 to 7 weeks next season, if Rodgers can remain upright, but he will be exposed again, and Saleh's inability to make tough decisions and adapt quickly will compound the problem.

@RealisticJetsFan Not his biggest fan, but I have to admit he's made some really good draft picks. His real downfall is contingency planning and in-season adjustments. Unfortunately, Saleh may be worse at those things. Winning teams make tough decisions before problems wreck your season. Ignoring the Hackett problem is an example of this. No team at this level of denial ever won anything.

@@ronniebauch5993 he really has not made many good draft picks. Here’s the proof. 2020- Becton, Mims, Davis, Zuniga, Perine, Morgan, Clark, Hall, Mann. Totally Failed. 2021- z Wilson, AVT ( has not played in 2 years), Moore, Carter (rb), Sherwood, Carter 2, Pinnock, Nasirildeen, Echols, Marshall, the Zack Wilson makes them his draft and F despite some marginal players in later rounds.
2022- Gardner( great player that does not fit Saleh defense where DB are least impactful, G Wilson, Jermaine Johnson, Breece Hall, Ruckert, Mitchell, Clemons Got a starting WE, DB and RB which is great but 2 seasons later jets are still not in post season. His best draft but not too impactful on the team based on past mistakes.
2023 is too early to really judge but he got schooled taking Mcnonald whe the world knew the position of need. Tippman, Warren, Izzy, Barnes, converse, kuntz, Too early to tell but this does not look good at all.
Free agents other than Reed and the Kicker look even worse.

@@ENYTilliDie718nope. I'm an Eagles fan. Reddick is better at rushing and good at stopping the run.
Reddick is also number 1 in the league since 2022 in causing the QB fumble the ball as he is sacking them. So the jets aren't just getting a guy who can get to QB. They're also getting a guy who causes turnovers. Teams have to game plan for him because of that. Clowney is an overrated and always makes a bone headed penalty at the worst time.
I understand why you wouldn't see that. All that Jet losing over the last 30 years clouds your mind. 😂

It would shock me if the Jets draftet Brock Bowers! He is NOT A CONTESTED CATCH GUY AND is NOT GOOD AT TRACKING THE FOOTBALL. In addition he is only 6' 4" tall and about 245 pounds which is small for an NFL tight end. A much smarter move would be to trade down a few spots and get an extra day 2 or 3 pick. That way we can get a versatile offensive lineman who can play both tackle and guard, in addition to a WR.

@@havnt3782 lost Huff. Wish we never over paid Lawson. Another JD blunder. That said, I can’t totally blame him. Jets have to overpay to get free agents interested. NFL needs to do something with the cap because high payroll tax states are at a disadvantage. Players will always choose Florida and Texas as they get to keep 10 percent more of their money. When getting paid millions, 10 percent is a big deal

@JetsTalk247 I don’t think this will effect McDonald at all. While our defense was elite last year stopping the run was a problem still. Reddick helps to fill that void. I bet by default that also helps for him to meet the criteria to not turn the pick into a 2nd. Have Reddick in for run plays and McD in for pass. Plus since Reddick is a little older maybe they’re trying to save a little face on injuries. Only time will tell. J E T S JETS JETS JETS!!
