The guy you were referring to was probably Ford Tech Makuloco, he’s great and has saved me a lot of time and money.

The factory Motorcraft 12 V AGM under the hood is notoriously weak. It is a good idea to replace that battery with a better slightly more capable battery like the Optima offered at variously places including Battery+

Your friends video you mentioned, which I have seen, something isn't right in his software measurement of constant drain while charging that he shows 18 amps negative draw while the vehicle is off. You simply cannot sustain a car or truck battery being off for a couple days eve with an 18 amp parasitic draw. The battery would be dead dead dead. The draw cannot be that high for a parasitic draw.

If you charge the battery post to post, it wll take the BMS roghtly 24 hours to recognize the charge to the battery. That is why you need to charge the battery on the backside of the BMS module as you demonstrated.

Nice video friend, thanks for sharing your experiences and suggestions, much appreciated that you didn't freak out and rant like some. I also own an F150 PB....'22 Lariat 502A with 51K kms and love it. I have a battery monitor now and find it helps, just like on my motorcycle. I'll check my fuses. Small price to pay for an awesome truck.
