this song hit me when I first heard it. seeing the frights live was am experience I'll never forget even though I was fucked up.
This took me back to 2016-2017.... I’d do anything to listen to this album for the first time again tbh.
This song hits hard, especially knowing it's only the beginning of this since I'm a sophomore (hs) and that there are many, many more years to come and many more friends to lose.
The wise kitty focused not on all that is lost, but all that remains. Everything is temporary and time is fleeting. Live in the moment. Be grateful and cherish what ever you have no matter how little it is, or else moments of pure joy and bliss will pass you by and you won’t even notice. Only enjoying the good times in hindsight is the saddest thing in the world.

I just want to take this moment to gush about the guitar riff at the end. In a such a melancholy song, full of so much sadness in confusion, there's always gonna be those moments where it all falls away, and you just get to feel alright. Gotta cherish those moments.
I used the lyrics of this song in a project for a theater class and it was the perfect mixture of dramma and emotion and it came out so perfect

honestly i’m only 14 but my whole childhood has been wasted. this song reminds me that time goes on whether i want to or not. its not a bad thing, it reminds me that things change, for better or worse.
you're 15 now, but i hope you know the next three years are your childhood too. i'm 18, almost 19, and i felt the same way you did when you were 14. and what i've learned is you can always go back to your "childhood" when you're older. it's not over. the measurement of time is fake and you can always circle back to the things you missed.

It’s just becomes and obvious, numbing experience, you make friend and you loose them, some of my friend are dead, some of them are on drugs. Some of them are still my friends, some are on the bend or trying to make amends and some friends are just bound to end.
Forever endure, and remember, passion, and emotion, these are the driving forces for those experiences you won’t forget.
I often rémanence with friends I didn’t make untill I was across the country and was in my early twenties, about those times we had, and some times it’s even better to hear others experiences than to remember you own.

this song reminds me of when I would play sports and was one of the best players on every team I joined, but I got a bad coach and my home life was shit so I no longer had an escape from life so I started to get into drugs. I was showing up to practice high I was skipping cause I was hungover I was selling games back to back, i wasnt mvp anymore, so I got kicked off the team. And now ima druggo if I’m being honest, I wish this nightmare would just stop.
