There won’t be a real bottle neck with the cpu/gpu combo. It’s about on par with 4070ti

Not worth the money since this old hardware that's no upgrade pathway at all plus it's better go with AM5 with ddr5 B650 value motherboard like Tomahawk or any brand that worth using 🤔 with AM5

Most people sit on a motherboard, CPU and RAM combo for at least 5 years, and even longer. So nothing wrong with going 5700x3d build and upgrade the whole platform in 5 to 7 years. 5700x3d can handle rtx 4090 tier GPUs. So if they build now with something like a 7900 GRE they can at least do one more GPU upgrade after some years. The whole 'future proof' concept is a bit mundane. And for most people who do casual internet browsing, youtube, gaming and some streaming, productivity performance doesn't really matter. 5700x3d is around the same performance level as a R5 7600 when it comes to gaming. 5700x3d has 8 cores and 16 threads though VS 7600s 6 cores and 12 threads. So the 5700x3d should age better for gaming and last for many years.

Yea it’s still super valid to go AM4 with 5700X3D today being your not getting the next 3D chip unless you overprice to 7800X3D so people don’t know all the details when they say it’s not worth it in 2024. For instance we have a young family member who wants to stream and I built his b450, RTX 2060 ultra and Ryzen 5 2600 awhile ago and he can use that for the stream pc and get into zero overhead stream/gaming with a dual pc setup so that’s just 1 of the many examples AM4 is still super valid. I’m on AM4 getting 200+ fps with a 7800XT @ 1440p with optimizations
