Hi Ulrich, you're welcome and thanks for commenting. I already had an aerial installed for DAB+ from my previous radio, it is a windscreen mount and very similar to the supplied aerial. The trick with these aerials is to make sure the copper part that doesn't stick to the glass goes on the metal framework of your car to give a good ground. A good way of doing this is to remove the car trim around the windscreen so it mounts properly. This also helps hide the cable. It needs to be on a window with no reflective film or heating as this interferes with the radio, so the only window usually suitable is front windscreen. Occasionally dashcams can interfere, I have put metal ferrite beads on my camera power and rear camera cables at frequent intervals behind the trim which helps.
How long does the ATOTO to start-up in your Installation? Mine takes about 15 to 20 sec which is quite long which is caused as always a "Cold Start" is performed.
@@BurgerBude you should be able to, if the connectors are slightly different there are plenty of inexpensive adapters online anyway so I shouldn't worry too much. The implementation of dab on this radio isn't perfect, it's slow to start up and the presets are sometimes lost but YMMV so see how you get on.
Thanks's for the Reviews. Did you use the supplied DAB+ Window Antenna or did you use the build in Car Antenna?
