My father took his life on May 25 2010 , He was the the best accordion player in the DMV area , he knew every one and every one knew him ! I can close my eyes and see him play in the living room practicing his passion. As a child I didn't realize this what he loved and I didn't realize he was our town celebrity. Until his viewing... it was like a concert! He loved his music he loved his accordion. But like any depression, he blocked his own emotions to make the ones around him feel comfortable and happy ! .. check on your happy friends and relatives.. it's those who suffer in silence !! His style of Accordion playing an music is copied an imitated by almost all that conjunto groups. He is the Accordion playing king. He is the one who set the bar in playing Accordion. His style is incredible an to have done it for 60 years? Or more is amazing. Long live the King.
