Hi my name is Danielle, welcome to my True Crime and Makeup series! I’ve been interested in true crime for the longest time now, what started with me watching true crime on TV with my Nan from a young age eventually turned into studying for a degree in Law & Criminology.
When I first watched Bailey Sarian’s series I was completely hooked, I loved how she had combined two of the things I’m most passionate about and delivered it so well. She totally inspired me to take the leap and do the same thing on my channel, so all credit for the idea goes 100% to her.
I’m from the UK and will be covering cases from both the UK and internationally, let me know if there are any cases that you’d like to see from me! More cases will be coming soon so please subscribe if you enjoyed this video!

My father was a police officer for 30 years, 5 of those years he worked crimes against children. He said that having to sit in that room with these men pretending to be " understanding" to these sickos, made him physically ill! He would have to leave the room to throw up.

I worked as a psych nurse at a forensic hospital with sexually violent predators. They are treated better than our elderly. If they stub their toe, they see a nurse within 30 minutes and a doctor within a day. Seriously the hardest job I ever had, trying to pretend to have empathy for men that are monsters. Even worse is that I was a victim of sexual molestation by 9 different people while growing up, and every day I was at work I would have to pretend that they didn’t make my skin crawl.

@@MyHandleRocks no actually, like may officers, he will not really talk about it. The only reason he told me was because I was trying to decided my career focus at that time and between social work or nursing and he asked me to go into nursing, he said " being a social worker will change who you are" being the only person who really know how sensitive I am, was right like always. Even nursing has been a huge challenge when I was doing pediatric care. Now doing acute care mostly with the elderly and some hospice at time, seems to suit my blunt manner and appreciation for allowing someone to dictate their own end giving them dignity during end of life care is best for me. I fear having to work with abused children would have landed in jail one day, for going after someone who has hurt a child.

I always find it hard to believe so many people just overlooked his behavior. Probably because so many men in SC have the same behavior and attitude. Were you not aware of SC's rating on how many women are killed by men? We are usually #1 or #2. Domestic abuse is rampant and police do nothing. Police defended my ex-husband and covered for him for years until he set our house on fire when I finally got saved by friends and left, no ran, because he chased us with an axe. His own mom, and my mom, called the police on him and they came out and defended him. He was withholding my medication for Multiple Sclerosis from me to make me sick so he could control me and torture me and I had to have a police report for my insurance to cover another prescription because I have to have the medication every day. Police came out two weeks later and lied, said my medication was marital property and he could have all he wants. That is a federal crime. If I had been a senior citizen or child he would have been arrested for doing that to me but because I was his wife he could hold me hostage and make me suffer and allow my immune system to attack my brain and spine and cause life long difficulty for me. I could go on and on but I won't. Please, women, open your eyes before it happens to you.

i’m happy you mentioned Donna, scott’s wife as a victim, as well. she most definitely was. It’s just horrible how the police accused her of this horrific crime and an affair on top of it, as if it wasn’t painful enough to process being blamed for the murders …all while Todd was living his best life. I can not even imagine how traumatic that would be WHILE BEING PREGNANT, AND GRIEVING THE LOSS OF HER HUSBAND, at just 30 years old. I pray for all of his many victims, and the families that grieve the loss of a loved one taken too soon by this sick, lying, big mouth, excuse for a man. Also I pray for their strength while trying to heal from their loss, and having to hear Todd slander their loved ones name, like Johnny and Megan, and then continuing to blame his victims for why he “had to” murder them or not taking any accountability for the horrible things he did to them, all just to satisfy his little fat boy ego. there is a special place in hell for Todd. Hearing him speak makes me cringe!

I’m not surprised that Spartanburg PD did that. They’re awful. They basically verbally attacked my 13 yr old after a SA then said she was lying when I went in to file a complaint and demand an investigation (of a previously convicted and registered offender). It was the same dept (major crimes/SA) and same detective.
I can only imagine how awful she was treated. Sad thing is, there’s no repercussions because the ones (at the time, not sure if things have changed since) that were supposedly to hold the LEOs accountable were just as bad, if not worse. It’s no wonder the crime was as bad as it was in that county.
How terrible to go through losing your husband and family then being traumatized further by saying you cheated and your child wasn’t his!
There were people who STILL gossiped and blamed her even AFTER she was exonerated, if you can believe that!?!

I can only imagine a mom would feel massively overwhelming guilt that her kid turned out so horribly wrong- she’s already feeling like the worlds worst mom- why should we then expect her to turn her back on her kid, when they need her the most? I think it’s super backwards, that spouses don’t have to even testify against each other, but mothers get totally villified, and sonetimes even jailed, bc they stand by their kid.
I work very hard to ensure my kid is an empathetic good human, but if something went badly wrong w/ her, whether due to a brain injury, a hormonal Imbalance, or a serious disorder like this awful man had (which could have been managed, but wasn’t), what could I possibly do, as her mom, but stand by her?

He was my regular for 10 years at 2 of my bars. He was super creepy. He would get drunk and for years tell me and other customers he was a killer. We thought he was being silly and weird. He was confessing to us for years. Quite a few people do not believe he did the superbike tragedy or that kayla was held against her will. Lots behind all that. We will probably never know the actual REAL TRUTH. Todd confessed to other crimes that could not be proven. He did know crucial details of superbike so I do believe he was the murderer in that. This is all still nuts to me. Xoxo ♥️

It’s crazy to see this case covered by my favorite true crime RUclipsrs when I used to drive past his land every single day for work. And I can assure you, the women who worked for him NEVER felt comfortable even in the beginning. Years before he was arrested she used to always have a man go with her whenever she had to show a house with Todd. It was a known thing in the real estate world down there that when women had to deal with Todd they implemented the buddy system.
I feel so bad for Kayla…when this story first broke so many people had a hard time believing she wasn’t in on the plan with Todd. Even after sherif Chuck Wright (I played soccer with his daughter) released the body cam footage people STILL thought she was full of it. Her mom would go off on these people all the time on Facebook. It was absolutely disgusting to see.
One of my dear friends (and old co worker) lost his brother to Todd. He was one of the victims at the bike shop. I will never forget when he announced they found his brothers killer. 13 years later and they finally could receive some justice. Unfortunately though he said unless they let him in a room alone with Todd no conviction would ever take the pain of losing his best friend away.
I could go on and on about how much of an impact this monster had on our small community but this comment would be too long to post. That entire area from woodruff, to Lyman, Duncan, and even greer which is in an entirely different county had to deal with the after shocks of a single man. And yes..his mother still tries to justify his behavior. Some pity her, while I do not. I have three sons and I love them with every inch of my soul but one thing they know for certain is I will hold you accountable even more so than any teacher, police officer, or judge could. There is a huge difference between talking to your children about expressing their emotions in a healthy manner and completely enabling them. She doesn’t understand that.
Thank you for once again covering this case with the respect and dignity like you always do. ❤ I knew the second I saw the title you would truly do this case justice and you didn’t disappoint! It’s one of the reasons you are one of my favorite ❤

When you talked about Todd confessing his crimes to Kala, I could just hear his mother saying "but he confessed! Only someone with a good heart would be so upset from killing 7 people that they couldn't handle the guilt and just HAD to come clean. He's really a good boy, honest."
    Grrrrrrrrr........
*He wasn't sorry. Either he confessed to Kala because:
    (A) He planned to kill her
    (B) He's stupid
    (C) or he actually believed she'd fall in love with him and wouldn't turn him in out of loyalty.
I'm going with stupid. He's actually a terrible criminal. Got caught immediately at 15. Got lucky in the bike shop case because police had tunnel vision on an innocent woman. And he got a break again by killing the couple with criminal records the cops didn't ever seriously look for. Then with Charlie and Kala, he left traces of his connection to them by conversing online about the job he offered AND apparently didn't realize how cell phones ping AND kept her on his property. Criminal mastermind? Not. Even. Close.

Good guys: Dozens (potentially hundreds) of LEOs who have experience, evidence, resources, training, criminal history at their fingertips..

As a twice victim of someone with BPD Ima have to disagree with you. I married someone with BPD and was fooled to believe his claim of PTSD. I had a mother in law with BPD. You might not be a dangerous person but they were. Years and $$$$ were taken from my life to get justice. You might not be dangerous or violent but they were and what I went through because of them needs to be heard. People need to be made aware of personality disorders and what people with them are willing to do to anyone that makes them feel small, insecure, or a threat to their egotistical fears. I'm sorry that it hurts you but it's better that people be made aware of personality disorders and the ability to have comorbid mental illnesses while having one personality disorder. My ex husband was BPD and NPD on top of PTSD and eventually crack addiction. No, he never hit me with a fist but that isn't the only way abusers can abuse people. Police need a whole semester dedicated to being aware of how they work and how they victimize innocent good people so they can be more aware of how and why and what they might be hiding in clear daylight.

There is no help for personality disorders. They don't get cured. My ex-husband has gone to prison for blowing up my van with 6 propane tanks and setting our house on fire because I had friends save me by coming to pick me up while he was asleep. He woke up and chased us with a big axe. Anderson police had been called on him at least 20 times by me, my mom, my stepdad and his own mom and they always took his side, blamed me, and did nothing. My ex is out now and is in and out of jail all the time. He is a felon and has been caught with drugs and a gun and he's still out there smoking crack and doing what he wants. He refuses to pay child support to me and his first wife and probably owes over $100,000 in child support arrears and that's a federal felony but SC does nothing. And the VA won't hold up court orders for child support and basically our federal taxes are paying him to do this. He get's to smoke $3500.00 a month of crack on our dime.

Several youtubers did cover this case , yet failed to mention a lot of important details, especially regarding his childhood and his violent tendencies . Thank you for covering this case ! I really like your channel and am always looking forward to see more of your content. I also like your personality and wish I had a friend like you.

You are the ONLY person I watch if I think I know everything about the case. Because you ALWAYS have things no one else finds. You definitely spend A LOT of time researching! I can't believe you still do it all yourself though! I know one crime youtuber who has about 200 000 followers and pays someone (SHIT ALL) to RESEARCH AND WRITE WHAT SHE READS. AND EDIT THE VIDEO.
No one would blame you if someone else researches for you, or even writes it, but please always add what you do to them! Maybe do your awesome super in depth when you normally do, and add a shorter one during the week that you get help with?
I think you deserve to be the biggest, most well known crime teller on RUclips!
You have empathy, brains, the criminology background, are well spoken and research like no one else!
The makeup is also awesome, but it's the crime researching and story telling that you do that will make you super rich I think!
Goodluck! I really hope you make it over a million before the end of the year and 2 next year! 🤞🍀

I didn’t even realize what this about until I saw the young couple. I had no idea he’d left all of those Amazon reviews. I always hear a lot of new details from this channel.
It also always weirds me out how normal most of these ppl look and how so many of them sound very similar to narcissists I’ve had the misfortune of meeting. I swear they have a hive mind that reads from the same playbook. If any thing can be learned, it’s that we collectively need to start taking unsettling ppl seriously. Also I’ve learned from this channel especially, you can’t rely heavily on the police solely and you really need to fight to be your own protector and advocate. ❤

@@sweetmissypetuniawilson9206 I apologize. Then it was me who misunderstood you. Okay do I have three suggestions for you if you've never heard of them you would need to watch one video from each of them the one RUclipsr is Stephanie Harlowe and I can give you three cases of hers to watch now two of them are in parts so the first one is in two parts and the second one is in three parts and then I'll give you just one that's not really true crime but it's an excellent watch. The girl who slept for 34years,, the Ellen Greenberg case and then the Phoebe handsjuk case. Then there's Kimberleigha who does deep dives so they can be like almost 2 hours and you can watch any of hers then Sherrilyn Dale she's a total sweetheart and she does true crime and she also does what's called viewer submissions where people will send in something that they want to talk about and then she will read it So any one of hers is awesome the one that can suggest that's in two part which I believe is for only one is the David Elmquist case and if you don't know who she is I would love for you to watch that video and like and share and sign the petition and you'll see why when you watch the video so there's a few good ones actually they're amazing so let me know if you've ever heard of them or if you haven't and if you haven't let me know when you watch one from each of them I have suggested these to a lot to people and for some reason everybody goes to Stephanie and then the binge watch her which is kind of funny but again I'm sorry I misinterpreted what you said so hopefully you will let me know if you know these three and I'm sorry for the novel lol😆 oh my gosh I'm such an airhead you said you found humans and I was taking that completely out of context I'm going to have to check out that channel for sure

@@rachelrae860 Mrballen is the best! What's go great about his channel is that he tells it from a view point to where it's a mystery until the end and then there's a plot twist and you find out what really happened. My favorite are his missing 411 cases. There's definitely an element of something paranormal. After binge watching his chanell I've come to the conclusion that aliens are abducting people and not putting them back where the found them lbvs.
