Thank you so much I really enjoyed Your lecture. I remember reading somewhere that Cicero sold a farm. It was for a Large amount of money. He moved it back to Rome the money. And I was thinking there must be a banking system for him to be able to move that size of money.
The aforementioned argentarii probably exchanged notes on accounts between Cicero and the other party and then gave the balance out to Cicero when he came to the city
