I NEED AN EXPLANATION 😭
I can actually explain the Frozen gloves! I think the gloves have a kind of placebo effect, where Elsa's parents told her the gloves would suppress her magic in the hopes that they might, and she was so certain they would work that they in fact did work. Once she wasn't thinking "This item will stop my magic" it just came from everywhere, including through her shoes. So really, Elsa was subconsciously controlling her powers all along.
