This video is very relatable to me! When I was a kid, I used to think that I have a "fake" personality. I used to act so differently in different situations. I also used to act overly polite in some situations (I think I still do). And like you mentioned, depending on the friend I am talking to I can showcase a different part of my personality to them. But I now understand that it's not me being fake. This is the real me. It is as if my personality is a pie, I will give different pieces of it to people who would love and appreciate that specific piece. At the end of the day, all those pieces are parts of the real me. And I tend to read the room and understand the emotional state as well. But I don't think it's a conscious choice that I make. It naturally happens. I think I am very sensitive. But this does make me conflict-averse a lot. Especially as a kid, one of my classmates used to make fun of me because I came across as very spineless. Many people have given me similar comments. But nowadays I am better able to state my opinions. But I still do suppress my negative emotions though. Even as a kid it was uncomfortable, and it still is. Also wanted to add a point, not sure whether it's a part of having Fe though: I tend to unconsciously imitate people a lot. The way people talk, the way they construct sentences, the facial expressions and gestures and all. And after it happens I get shocked. Could it be because of having Fe and also being very self-aware? This is a confusing thing that happens to me! Anyway, thank you so much for this relatable video! ❤ As a person who like many others used think Fe is a shallow function and being typed as a feeling type is bad, this video makes me appreciate my auxiliary function more. ✨
YES TO ALL OF THIS!!!!!! And just when I thought you couldn’t be giving even more relatable things, boom! You nailed it with the imitating subconsciously thing!!! I do that too!!!! I believe it’s a side effect of having Fe/Se! It’s called mirroring. But also the ability to act as a person without even knowing you picked up on their patterns. This comment made me smile so much. Thanks so much for always being supportive and giving your honest feedback and personal experiences!
@@DeezyRYG It makes me so much happy to know that all these points are relatable to you. ✨ I thought that I didn't describe that imitating point well. That part always makes me feel like I am easily influenced by the people around me. Even the people whom I consider as "bad people". When I unconsciously imitate them, I feel afraid. Because it makes me feel that I am being influenced by them. Then I actively try to delete that thing which I imitated but I don't really want in my life. This process feels like constantly trying to adjust my personality. I think I do this because I don't want to be associated with the things or behavioral patterns or the people with these behavioral patterns that I consider as bad or even impolite. And this imitation thing happens in my inner voice as well. I talk to myself in a different way when I listen to somebody a lot and get influenced by them. All these things make me feel like, if I am in a good environment with good people, I will thrive. And if it's otherwise, then vice versa.
Haha! Yeah you’re not crazy!!! Unless we both are, but yeah even when I watch certain shows or movies (mainly shows cause they go longer) then this imitation point definitely occurs and for a long time! I love how well you’re explaining it!
@@DeezyRYG I was very unsure about explaining it. I didn't know whether I am explaining it well, or even if I did, whether it's going to be relatable to you or anyone reading it. The things I said seem vague. But I am truly glad that you found it relatable.
Haha yeah basically. Enough Fe experiences led me to become super specific with what each category is (Ti) and then Ni helps me know what I actually want plus how much I can handle.
When I first learned the functions, Fe baffled me in the sense of "Why would you do that?" More than anything else, it's what cemented I'm Fi not Ti. Very interesting and I'm probably more interested in these functions that aren't in my stack than those that are. Also, hearing you describe Ti made me see how Ti blind acts. I heard how Fe used it and wouldn't fathom it. I can't wait for Ti now!
@@DeezyRYG Lol You were definitely honest here about Fe's dark side. Poor Ti users. It makes me glad I didn't hear what I know about how evil Fi can be.
Aww Denzel, this is actually so vulnerable 🥰
🥲🫣😮💨 haha thank you! I had a tough time with it.
@@DeezyRYG you look so sheepish in so many sections of this video 🥹😅

Thanks so much!! I appreciate it!
lol I understand now 🤦🏻♀️lol your totem pole is sooo specific bc of Ti+Fe. Are you currently or have you in the past developed your Ti?
