I think this cage is fantastic! The feed and water system is brilliant. It is easily the cleanest cage I have ever used, and far better than the Hagen Vision cage that I first purchased. I was so impressed with the first Geo cage, I ended up buying a second one. My only and biggest regret was buying the Hagen Vision Cage before I bought the Geo cage
We bought this cage a few months ago. The video was a very important part of assembly. Once you get the hang of how the round nodes are attached, they are very easy. This cage is very strong. We have 2 very active budgies who climb and fly around in it. In order to keep the birds from flying around when cleaning, I detach the clips, lift the cage from the base and place it beside the base, keeping it close to the table. I have never had an issue with the birds flying out. The feeder really does catch the empty seed shells, cutting down on mess. My only two issues are 1. that the feeder also catches un-eaten seeds and the birds can't get to them, and 2. the feeder base cannot be removed through the doors. You must remove the cage from the base to clean it. The water and food containers come out, but the large base does not. I would buy it again. Very strong, and beautiful to look at.
Hi we’ve bought this and 6 of us have tried to put it together. Just doesn’t work like it does in the video. We bought the charge back in the summer. Any chance of still getting a refund. Just doesn’t work slotting the nodes together.

We were surprised and happy that all of the necessary pieces were included and well-packaged, and that the wire (and indeed all the parts) were of good sturdy quality.
You get 2 doors and there is some flexibility in where you can put them. The first Geo I purchased, I set it up with the doors exactly as shown in the video. The second Geo I purchased I put the lower door on the opposite side to what is shown in the video. You could have the 2 doors both low down or in the middle section. The best option I found was that shown in the video, as 1 door low down and the 2nd door in the middle section. This way gives more ease of access for myself to every part of the inside.
Assembly was not as easy as the video looks. It took two of us to put it together after looking at the instruction booklet AND watching the video several times. The snap on buttons were the most difficult part . . . but once we got the hang of them, they seemed to go on much easier when we weren't fighting them.
Unclip the 5 clips on the plastic base and lift off the wire cage gently so your birds don’t fall or fly of their perches. If you are gentle, then your birds should stay on their perches attached to the wire cage, while you put the wire cage section on a hard surface. Then after you have cleaned the base, just gently lift the wire cage with your birds on their perches, and place it back on the plastic base, then use the 5 clips to secure the top and the base together. My bird only uses this to sleep in, and occasionally run around the base playing with his plastic balls and chew toys, or to play with the toys in his cage, the vast majority of the time he is out of his cage at the least 9 hours minimum, most of the time he is out for 10 hours - 10 hours 30 minutes. He has loads of toys on different stands, a play gym and his tree stands. He also loves playing on the floor, on the bed and on my chest.

How sturdy is this cage? And how easily can the wires bend?

Can I mount the door wherever I want?
Hi there, if you refer to step 10 in the video you will see where the door should be installed on our Geo cage

Lovely cage - but Easy Home Assembly?

How do I keep the birds from flying out while cleaning?
You cant they need to be outside
