Thanks for sharing first shots from your Henry H015 single shot rifle. Love the hand cut checkering on the walnut stock. Mine is in 308 Win. Henry had a recall last summer that fixed some identified issues and did some work on the trigger.
This Rifle is Beautiful I bought one thinking it would be run of the mill regular but I was Pleasantly surprised . Wood is fabulous, fit and finish awesome !! Got mine in .308 win, no looking back . Henry does it Right... Proud to own one too !
You're like a brother from another mother. We both like the G26, we both like/carry Lehigh Defense XD bullets, I think we're both from Central Ohio, and I was just looking up videos about a Henry single shot chambered in 350 Legend that I am interested and voilà! Great job brother!
Great video... i like that single shot Henry. I liked what you did so well I had to get a 350 legend myself... 12 guages are getting "rough" on the shoulder... lol Doing some testing with mine, a Franchi bolt with a 22 inch barrel. Accuracy is phenomenal with 180 factory Winchesters pp. Velocity was 2175Fps. I pulled a couple of the 180's and loaded them with aa1680. In my books 27.5 gr was max. Used same oal and the did about 2258 fps. Shot a 3 shot 1 1/2 group at 200. Gonna play with Hornady 170's and 165 flex tips. Dead deer this year! Ha
@Jason Lockwood No. Unfortunately since they are 0.357" in diameter and are HARD, I would strongly advise against it = STUCK bullet in barrel, etc... Plus, I doubt that you could even chamber the round since there would be a significant bulge with the 0.357" bullet seated in the 350Legend case.
Both CVA and Henry make a nice rifle. My muzzle loader is a CVA Optima- Wild Game model and it’s an absolute tack driver. I have shot a few deer with it and never had much of a track. I have a Henry blue steel 45-70 lever action and it will clover leaf 3 rounds at 100 yards. I didn’t get to take a deer with it yet, but I have killed some steel targets. Awesome rifle.
@@AP2020_Outdoors picked up yesterday. Fit and finish is awesome. Trigger is much better than you read about. Having a leupold 1.5-5x22 mounted. Whole gun (even leather strap Amish made) made in the USA. Good hunting!

Butifule looking rifle. I seen offered 350ledgen 450 bushmaster and 347 maximum clambering as the 357mag 44mag , 45-70. Seen few in the area must of them are 4570 or 44mag.
I'm falling in love with this rifle! Could you please do 50 yard shooting with open sights? Take tech out of it Mr Engineer! Lol I truly would love to see this gun shoot bare bones.
@@glock23fan50 they got the shoe collection the purse collection the perfume collection the makeup collection clothes hair salon nail salon tanning ect ect... I feel us hunters and shooters aren't even close on a yearly budget... Lol
Why do any of this if you don't show us what the recovered bullets look like, did they even expand gosh you need to make more of a full video without leaving out the most important parts.
That's a beautiful rifle...one you can hand down to your great-grandchildren as an heirloom. Can't say that about many firearms being made these days! However, the 350 Legend is one of the worst cartridge choices you could possibly chamber in a single-shot rifle. It has no rim, no belt and no shoulder, headspacing on the mouth of the case. One overpressure situation and that case is stuck, bad. Add to that the one-off case head size used on the 350 Legend and it's just a terrible choice for chambering in that fine firearm. The old 35 Remington would be far superior.
In this video what is type of shooting rest are you using? Would you recomnend it. I'm looking for something that will work with an AR-15. Thank you for your response. Now here's what I do: I educate people on how if they believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life! People are like computers; we all have a default mode. It is that we are all sinners, headed toward hell. GOD's Word declares, For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God....Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures. For whosoever shall call upon the name of the LORD shall be saved.
Hey , I really like all hunting rifles and shotguns. I like all calibers and gauges. I welcome the 350 legend. Truth is, I will never buy it, cause I already own a 44sp, 44 mag, 3030, and all else that surrounds the ballistics of this cartridge. It's not feasible. I guess it's good for newcomers that don't have the other calibers already. But I do think its a good cartridge, and adds to the tireless list of new crap. The consumer I will never blame. But these manufacturers and engineers are so f ing low and lifeless, its beyond practical humanity. Now I know why I am not a success in the field of game and fish. Its cause I'm self respecting and honest.
What you have there is a nice piece of quality furniture. To me it’s the perfect marriage of wood and steel. In a great caliber too!

Thank you Rich! Indeed the cut checkering is sharp and functional!
Nice, maybe I should have that done to my H015 .243.
how accurate is yours benched? These guns seem to be 1 or 2 moa. this is strange to me... I would think a single shot would be more accurate.

Congratulations! Indeed Henry uses some of the finest walnut available these days = which is getting scarce I am sure.
I have a 357 mag single shot Henry and the wood is fantastic right off the shelf at the local ma and pop gun store

Very nice Indeed!☆☆☆☆☆
Have 2 of these single shot rifles one in 357 and one in 45-70 love them great rifle a little hard to find around here
Yeah the 118's are what I settled on for my AR.
@John Balazek The 118gr XD are a great bullet!
She is a beauty. Appreciate Henry. Gonna get me a few of them in due time. Thanks.
@Guardian Minifarm
Indeed! Yes, you will be happy with the Henry rifles!
I would like to see them offer a high comb stock but I will go as low as I can when I get mine. I will go with a 1x4 or something along that line.

Yes they will. Henry released a TSB regarding the older single shot rifles.
