Best SECRET HIKING Trail in PERFECTLY raw Switzerland - Swiss Alps on a Budget

- Who does not love hiking? In this video, I introduce you to one of the best kept secrets of the Swiss Alps. This valley is incredible: You have the perfectly raw Switzerland up there: lush green grass fields, cows, the sound of the cowbells, a lake, beautiful traditionally swiss houses and view up to the peaks and down to the valley. In this valley, you can enjoy Switzerland on a budget, the hiking is very cheap and you are going to be only among few visitors. The cabin costs less than 10.- CHF, the parking is free, what more? The entire hike to the lake takes around 30 minutes, another 10-15 to go around the lake and then another 30 to reach again the cabin. The hike is easy, even for beginners and families. Sometimes it’s just better to come to these places, enjoy the real Switzerland among the Swiss instead of being among loads of international travelers. The valley is great for taking many beautiful photos and views. Do not forget to hike to the chapel, that is on a side road on your hiking trail to the lake, that’s where you also can meet some Swiss cows and listen to the charming sounds of their bells.

I really appreciate your discreetness, but even after watching this video, I have no idea where it is other than you take the Amsteg exit, and I'd have zero idea how to get there. :( We visit Switzerland at least 1-2x/year, and I'd love to do a trip here, as we like to visit places that are a bit more off-the-beaten-path. It's too bad you didn't at least put on the screen in the video the name of the place. :( I know you said place names, but I have no idea how to even begin to spell them to search. Maybe a BIT less secretive???

Now my question, just to understand it better: Did you watch the video with or without subtitles? I did put the names of the places into the voiceover script and corrected the autosubtitles to make the names appear correctly. Please let me know if the subtitles are sufficient to you. Hi. Uri is a nice region. Many secrets to discover there. I hope so too, because the Staubifall is being overrun. Went in 2020, i was all alone, came in Sept 2023, it was crowded and full of annoying influencers who just copy the typical shots, that was so crappy👎🏽

@@DjemoGraphic hoy Djemo! my father lives in Zurich but I am not in contact with him any more due to family issues. he is originally from Lugano, he was Italian-born but adopted Swiss. I have been learning French on Duolingo for about 2 years, I think I speak it well but don't have much practice with others. Here in the US I am a massage therapist so I think my best course of action is to work in a spa or resort, or maybe further my career with an apprenticeship at a chiropractic office.
