Lately I've been feeling really nostalgic of percy jackson' s books. They're one of my favorite teenager books, and if you haven't read the books just give it a try! It's honestly great to teach things about Ancient Grece and mythology.
Back at the end of book 3 I just fell over again with Thalia/Luke trash. Those two are so bittersweet, it's killing you on the inside. Being from Percy' POV doesn't enable you to really understand the nature of the relationship of these two and I think that's why so many people ship Luke/Thalia (What's their fan-name?). We get to decide from what we know and it just leave most of the time with a giant hurt in your heart because their story was so tragic. I think it's kind of obvious they loved each other even if they weren't probably involved in a romantic relationship. I actually don't think they ever kissed. I'm just picturing stuff like 'holding hands, looking with heart eyes at eachother' haha.
The fact that they never had a proper end , honestly, makes me SO heartbroken. They had SO SO much potential and so many things are still unknown. It just hurts badly. Their story is so tragic, I cannot contain my tears everytime duuuh.
The cast choice is not really surprising haha. Kaya is just Thalia, there's no doubt about that! I'm still not 100% happy with Luke Abel being Luke...Like, I don't picture him this way AT ALL personality and physics but still, I guess we don't have a choice. The video focus at 70% on Thalia POV, before she met Luke and long after. I hope you'll managed to understand my scenes choices, I really tried to be faithful to the books and not to invent some wtf scenes. Everyhting in it makes sense and is related to the books in a way, so if you feel asking questions, I'm all open to help clarify :D

I have had so many breakdowns over Thaluke during those 5 years of die hard shipping them, but the worst one was when it hit me so strong that there really was no way for them to have a happy ending. No matter how much it ripped them apart to be separated. No matter how much they loved one another. Their paths just went completely different directions, with the things most valuable to them, things they believed in. Sometimes even true love is not enough.
Oh this is perfect! I miss the Percy Jackson series. I just wish they had actually made decent movies. and WOW that ending made me want to cry!!! Beautiful editing!

Thalluke was one of my favorite ships. Because they were so broken. So special to each other. I couldn't help it.

Thalia is a Hunter because she could only love Luke, but he turned on her.
Luke turned against the gods, because they let Thalia die.
They could only wish to be with each other. But that never happened.

The name of the ship is Thaluke 😢.
What I find so sad is that Thalia and Luke never exactly got the chance to be together alone…I mean when they were younger, they were together alone but after a few weeks-months,They met Annabeth and they were mostly on the run most of the time….And then when they got to CHB,Thalia died…And then in the SOM,Thalia got revived but by then,Luke had already joined Kronos…Then in the TC, Thalia literally joined the HOA and something tells me that she won’t leave the hunt,especially not for a boy…And then when Luke finally came to his senses…He died…
My theory is that Thalia wouldn't have joined the HOA if it wasn't for Luke. She literally chose to be an immortal virgin, even though she loved the boy (because they couldn't be together). And, if this doesn't sound good enough as it is, I'll add that it is almost given she wouldn't have joined the HOA, if Luke was there with them. Though, yhe story wouldn't have run its course either. And the thing is, they both ended up the exact way it was best possible for them within the storyline given, so... Idk
I like to think that they met when Thalia was 9 (so little time after she ran away) and Luke was 11 (so two years later he ran away), but not so sure
When Thalia died and she becomes tree and one eye guy kill her push her hard is she that stupid not helping them and she turned her back on her friends like that
i need an extra book on just the story of Thalia and Luke running away together and how she sacraficed her life and the edventures they have when running away i would read that book it would be so good!
The people who disliked this were too busy crying and missed the like button
I wonder what if Luke survived (I don’t look at how) sure, they would most likely say their goodbyes if that even and then never saw each other again. But love was between them and it breaks my heart as much as it makes it whole 🥺

Same. They deserved to be together. Luke joined Kronos to avenge Thalia… while that might not be what she would’ve wanted, I think without her death they would’ve made a solid couple, while Kronos would still be trying to poison Luke’s mind.
I wish in book too have interaction luke and thalia before luke death, their interaction just in kids time

I realize the fan vids are weird and stopped after a bit because AMVs are more my speed, but only seeing that weird walking thing (early Thalia) do I understand the full extent of the (original definition of) male gaze. Who walks like that!
