ingredients :
3 large bananas
1 tbsp of butter (20g)
1 tbsp of sugar (15g)
1 egg
a pinch of salt
1/4 cup of sugar (50g)
8g of vanilla sugar
1/4 cup of vegetable oil (50ml)
1/2 cup of milk (100ml)
1 cup of all purpose flour (120g)
3 tbsp of cocoa powder (20g)
8g of baking powder
1 tsp of vinegar (5ml)

These recipes always look good, but the titles are always misleading.
"No oven (but you need a stovetop), just 1 egg (and a dozen other ingredients), ready in 5 minutes (but also caramelize the sugar, slow-cook the bananas, cook the whole thing for 15 minutes, flip it over and do another 5)."

no oven means you don't need to put it in the oven to cook.
The thing is they don't have to fudge the time to make us want to watch it. I see a lot of channels do that and its sad.

Just made it! OMG so good! Family loves it too! I used 1/8 cup sugar instead of 1/4 because I don't like things too sweet and it turned out perfect for me. Warning! Banana stays hot longer than the cake. Let it cool a bit before eating. Thanks for posting this.

I made this for my boyfriend, he liked it a lot. Instead of vanilla sugar I used a splash of vanilla extract. It came out pretty good and it was easy to make ! Yum 😋

@@soop2073 substitute 1/4 cup sugar + 1 teaspoon a vanilla extract, if you don't have that you can use coconut sugar or brown sugar for similar results.

You should try a grilled banana sandwich. Like a grilled cheese but you put banana and mayo inside instead of the cheese. :-)

This is an upside down chocolate skillet cake. My Great Grandma passed it to my Grandma who passed it to my Mom. Their recipe calls for baking in an oven. It's a simple, very tasty desert.
