When I was in Mumbai I thought that Mumbai suburban locals were the largest and Kasara, Karjat and Dahanu were very far. But Kolkata suburban is the big daddy of all, its almost three times bigger than Mumbai and even larger than Mumbai, Chennai and Hyderabad combine.

Please make corrections in Station names e.g. After Atgaon, it is 'Thansit'.This name is of British era.British people used to spell as per their convenience.Thansit is actually 'Tanshet' local village name (same in state govt.records) in Shahapur Taluka of Thane District.Station board mentions 'Tanshet' as marathi name.
Not all fast trains halt there... There are even kasara locals which skip Diva and Mulund... But just for the convenience of passenger some trains are given halt at some specific stations..
Some years ago,Tanshet and Umbarmali were just halts.Local trains were officially halting here for passengers.After a long demand,CR sanctioned stations.A long time demand of Guravali station between Titwala-Khadavali has not been fullfilled.This station would be beneficial to Guravali and surrounding villages.
not literally ..the agra road meets the main line(nasik nagpur route) from khadavli....thus 4 stn from kalya6n junction(excluding) are on the same rail route but u cant get those stns specifically on the agra rd...so please understand more than 75 to 80 percent of the agra rd is parallel but 20 percent nearing kalyan is not At All Parallel...if u know this fact u will never go wrong or u may land in hardships...think
