Ben, please wear hearing protection. Those electric motors will destroy your hearing faster than artillery fire. Also a pair of tight well fitting gloves. The former your children will be thankful for, not having to shout, and the latter Mrs Orford will be thankful for. Women loathe rough hands, and yours are beaten up something severe. If you think you'll lose dexterity with gloves you haven't found a good pair of gloves yet. My leather gloves are so supple I can almost feel _through_ them as though they weren't on.

What makes a sloyd knife a sloyd knife vs some other type of knife.
Any reason to not notch the tang? Surely not strictly neccessary, but gives the epoxy a bit more to grab onto.
I would like to see a pin in it for peace of mind glue always fails it might take a hundred years but it will fail a pin is just more security.
