I would like to express my gratitude for all the Microsoft Access tutorial videos you have created. I have found them to be very helpful as a beginner trying to learn about Microsoft Access. I am writing to request a video tutorial on how to create buttons on a form that can transfer data to a table. For instance, I have created several tables, namely: ReceivedTable, IssuedTable, ReturnedTable, and DamagedTable. All tables have the same field names: Item Number, Serial Number, Item Description, Item Category, Quantity, and Received Date. I would like to create a form that includes fields for Item Number, Serial Number, Item Description, Item Category, Quantity, Date, and Note. Additionally, I would like to include four buttons for Received, Issued, Returned, and Damaged items. When I click on any of these buttons, the data should be transferred to the designated table. Thank you for your help, and I hope to hear from you soon. Kind regards, Thushara
@@datatechstutorials Hello sir! I am having troubles with the query. I keep getting the error message "the SELECT statement includes a reserved word or an argument name that is misspelled or missing, or the punctuation is incorrect". How do I solve this? Thank you!
@@datatechstutorials thanks alot! I'm joining a company soon where I will be responsible for managing seafarer movements. This includes tracking and monitoring important documents with expiration dates. Hope you can help me to make my life more easier as they don’t have a system in place. 😅

Thanks for such beneficial and easy tutorial. I need that if once we enter data and saved then it must be stop from editing in from.

Hello Senior, thanks so much for this edifying tutorial. I have a problem at the 49th minute; when I run the query, it gives me an error message which is "The SELECT statement includes a reserved word or an argument name that is misspelled or missing, or the punctuation is incorrect" . I restarted the work and got stuck again
Hello, I appreciate the training. However, some of your steps are really not for beginners like me who is just exploring Access for the first time. I am stuck at the point of linking my filter Employee and Department in the query section. Can you kindly show the steps in a more explanatory way for first-timers on Microsoft Access?
Steps: deletion shouldn't be mentioned here even since you still need their records to be in the system though they have stopped the job. Let's use some basic query to get our database form to show us only the active staff members and that those you mark as inactive shouldn't show. steps: 1. Add a field with options (Active, inactive) to the employee table 2. when staff leaves the work mark him as inactive on the profile 3. create a query to filter only the active staff members and store that query as record source of the employee profile form or payroll form or attendance. I believe this helps. you can contact me by getting the details from the video description
