Both the Epoca and the Toscana can be super smooth or pebbly/textured. If they didn’t send you a smooth one it was because they didn’t have any in the current batch. They are both undyed and will both patina/darken in the same way.
Thank you for this explanation. I Know why the have their reasons why it isn't as smooth as I hoped for. But that it will patina same way is good to know. I thought the lighter Undyed might patina a little faster and gets a bit darker. But I'll see..
