That blue shell tossback at the end really is how it feels when you slam on the brakes at *just* the right time for the guy in second place to catch the shell instead of you.

@@Ironsnake345ify I’ve done that with a mushroom. If I hit an item box while still in 2nd, it can be a mushroom even if I am 1st by the time the item is decided. If that happens, I save the mushroom. Having a mushroom in 1st place is a huge advantage, as you can dodge the next blue shell.
@@kaizoisevil well I'm not talking about doing it with a mushroom, I'm talking about, you notice one of the other players gets a blue shell, you let yourself fall behind into second place before they throw it or shortly after, then when it gets close to you, because you're no longer in first place, it locks onto the guy who was behind you a moment ago and blasts them. Most MK games give you a heads-up of who has what item, or at least have blue shells show up on the track map, so you can do this if you're quick enough.
Tho translated in the Bully formula; that's actually would be like when Harry tossed the grenade, instead of reverse uno-ing him, Bully McGuire decided to toss it at probably Bruce Campbell
