I've been waiting for you to post an update on this, and I'm interested in the course. I've been going back and forth between Koenig's "Accelerated C++" and Stroustrup's "A Tour of C++." I like the examples and the presentation in Accelerated C++, but it's 23 years behind at this point. Will your course have example problems to work, or projects to develop? Will you give pointers on modern C++ paradigms and how it differs from C or older versions of C++? Do you discuss linting or setting up an IDE for C++? I use VSCode, but have ended up hand-writing Makefiles to compile my C++ code because the VSCode plugins seem to have problems with even simple compilation. Is there a more detailed syllabus than what's available on your website? Sorry for all the questions, but before I pull the trigger I'd like to have a better idea of what the course will cover.
Just a suggestion. You should include a syllabus for the course. The description of the course in this video and your website don't really give enough detail on what the course is covering. "C++ Advanced Weeks 16-20: Going beyond the basics, this will teach you the skills to stand out as a C++ developer. " That's pretty vague. I'm familiar with C/C++ but I'm looking for a course that goes over advanced topics such as concurrency in C/C++. I have no idea if your course covers it. Love your videos.
@codebreakthrough Exactly! I am also familiar with C/C++ and have some experience, but I would like to learn more advanced topics, especially if they are covered with practical examples and projects. I don't want to move through the next course, which describes syntax, without any practical examples. Is it for me? As one of the fellows wrote in his comment, I also want to learn more about C/C++ for robotics.
Question though! How much more advanced material will this course have compared to the All in one 10 Hour C++ video on RUclips you made 3-4 years ago? @calebcurry
So is it how C++ works or how to actually make software that has real world applications using c++. Find alot of courses on programming / c++ are mostly a encyclopaedia of how language works and rarely about how to build software.
I'm really excited for this course because I want to learn more about robotics. Now to my questions, are there project that will be build in the master course or is it more about ther general idea how c and c++ work in theorie ?
Started with c++ my programming life, learned OOP, not embedded. I've switched to Java because of industry and job offers here , and want to get really good at it. But, i would like to cover one language with compiler in a proper way so im happy this course comming
Caleb sounds excellent, C and C++ are excellent subjects to learn! Caleb would it be possible for you to either create a Kotlin course or Java course? Not many have content in Kotlin, very little resources are available, just a thought thank you.
I am so excited for you to check out the course! www.cppmastery.com :)

Yes, CALEB! I went through your C++ basics playlist on RUclips TWICE it was so helpful how you broke it down. I am excited for this course! Thanks!

@@isaiahseidman6797 How about you contribute towards his effort instead of mindlessly coasting on freebies? Numbnut!
C++ is the Best programming language in the world! Thanks for the awesome lessons!❤
Congrats on new baby🎉🎉🎉

Also wondering this

I work with robotics and am also curious if this course is for me.

Is it just teaching the language or will be be building actual software that can be put on resume.
Will you have concrete projects to build ?
I'm also curious ...
Would we build projects in the course?
Will you cover multi-thread programs and thread-safety?

I hope the course will soon be out
excited for this course. Also congratulation on becoming a dad
I already filed up form but not receiving any emails!!!
Hey Caleb..Do you have a course for Java?
I have been waiting for a long time to when you start this thing..
Any prerequisite for this course? Do I need to know any other programming languages before taking this course?
No. It is beginner friendly to start with this course.
make a regular expressions full tutorial pls
Do you cover modern cpp features (e.g. C++23)?
On the contrary. Do you cover "old school" topics? Ansi C, K&R, etc 😮
@@JohnDoe-kh3hy K&R? ..I'm still struggling with BCPL!
@@johnc3403 🤣🤣 Sorry, I'm too ahead of my time and far-tetched. Maybe, I just need to feel happy with Cobol, Lisp and Fortran.
Too expensive
I would like to add an Arabic translation
Mwahahahahahahahaha
