Been a fan since Jr. High. I am now 63 and still listening to Chaka. Today's singers have nothing on singer's from the,70's 80's and early ,90's. Chaka was one of the first artist that I saw when I was like ,15. Her voice was so powerful and she held those high notes so long I could literally feel the hairs on my head stand straight up. The only other singer to do that was Jennifer Holliday. They are two power house singers. The first two times I saw Chaka she was with Rufus and she was on 10 each time. Later in the 90's I saw her she was still doing the damn thing. She's in my top five of singers. She gave Whitney Houston her start singing back up and Whitney mom was already doing backup for Chaka. When I bought this CD it had more songs. There was "Never Miss The Water" and "Everywhere" a cover of the Fleetwood Mac song. Listening to "Papillon (Hot Butterfly)", "I Know You, I Live You" I feel so blessed to be alive.
