⬇❤HELLO BEAUTIFUL HUMANS! Hope You Are Well. If You have a minute, please do check out MY LATEST COVER (COLDPLAY - FIX YOU) on my music channel → ruclips.net/video/VlQhVZjwxx4/видео.html. Have a great day!
This song was written by Tim, Austin, Adam Wakefield (from Texas Hill) and Chris Chatham the guitarist. Chris is Tim's friend 20 or so years ago they met when they were in the group Blue Jupiter. This is an absolutely beautiful song and it gets you in the feels. Truly enjoyed watching your reaction to this song.
when you have 4 sopranos, 5 altos, 5 tenors, 2 baritones, 2 basses and at least 3 beatboxers, one of which world class! You have such a wealth of talent that none other can even think of!!
Another great original song! This is such a beautiful heartfelt melancholy song. Tim's lead was awesome along with all the guy's harmonies & Adam's harmonica sounds were great as usual. I don't mind having an instrument played once in awhile in a song. It was tastefully done in the background without taking over. It added a nice element. Also like the scenery in Colorado. Home Free are the best a cappella group in my opinion. They have 5 incredibly talented & humble men who's music just touches your soul.
They work with the GUITARIST herein = Chris Chatham ... on other tunes and individually, two members in separate projects. Excellent musician and singer.
Schnell as a Home Fry AWESOME reaction, I would expect nothing less! The meaning of these song can take anyone in multiple directions! A good bye to innocents or a dead end road of what has been..etc. Which anyone can relate to, which is awesome as a fan! peace FYI: Schnell your fans are waiting for more of your beautiful vocals...... GIVE IT TO US DAMNIT!!! LOVE YA GIRL!
The guitarist is Chris Chatham, performs with Tim and Austin quite a bit away from Home Free. Also involved with writing these originals. I love Adam's "no-monica" as well. Much love!
I know it's not just me, but wow! They legitimately have 4 singers who are good enough to sing lead for a band and the other one... sounds like a drum-kit, harmonica, guitar, or whatever they need. Crazy-good.
I think the answer to your question about 'how can they make each song sound right?' is in their ability to pick the right person for lead. Having Tim and Chance do the leads in this lent it that heavy feeling, having Rob and Austin soaring above but in the background, along with Chris's subtle guitar gave it that bit of hope to counter Adam's mournful harmonica.
Wasn’t that beautiful?!!! Love this song. I’m wearing it out in my car. I saw them perform this live and Chris (Chris Chatham is the guitarist and Tim’s friend) joined them and it was so moving. Tim, Austin, Chris and Adam Wakefield of Texas Hill wrote this. They have so many originals on this album….12 originals I think. Good reaction Schnell. Hope your baby is good and thriving!🥰
Home Free just destroys my emotions at times! I love them so much! IMHO there is none better. They are INCREDIBLE people as well! Thx for reacting to this beautiful song. This latest album is full of gorgeous original music. Sending love from South Georgia ♥️😃🍟
Someone said during the premiere that this video was shot near Denver. Schnell you had your chance to go watch them LOL. As always, I greatly enjoyed Home Free and your reaction Schnell.
Chris Chatham on guitar and Tim have been good friends for a long time. There are several videos out there with just the two of them doing requested songs for fans recorded in what may be a room in Tim's home.
It really is a beautiful song! I know exactly what you mean about the harmonies with a sad or emotional song versus an upbeat, happy song. I definitely feel it! Loved your reaction, Schnell! It was as heartfelt as the song itself. I believe Adam was emulating a harmonica, as he’s done in past songs. He’s really a phenomenal beatboxer, and those other instruments and sound effects he makes in other songs are crazy and otherworldly! Lol The whole self-titled album is excellent with 12 out of 14 songs being originals.
Austin also does "no-monica" also with Adam when they do Man of Constant Sorrow. The guys did say no more videos outside in COLD weather! Outside of Denver after their concert I believe. Thank you for your great reaction!
I was surprised that you didn't remember Adam Rupp's "no monica" in their cover of "Man of Constant Sorrow". After all, in your reaction you said, "Can I just move to where they live and just listen to them all day?". Adam's no monica is also prominently featured in Home Free's cover of "Ain't goin' down (till the sun comes up), but I couldn't find that you reacted to that. And Chris Chatham (and others) are featured in Austin & Tim's cover of "My Maria", found on Austin's channel.
What's not to like with Home Free. They are excellent at their craft. I was never into acapella until I heard this country a cappella group. I guess I am pretty narrow minded with regards to this group. I am an old classic country music kind of guy, but this group has expanded my genres because they are so good. I enjoy your reactions - you always show your excite-able side. THANKS! Keep on!
It may be "just semantics," but 'sadness' implies regret and sorrow, at least to me. I found this to be a soulful, maybe mournful celebration of a wondrous history. While the melody and harmonies seem a bit melancholy, there is an underlying passion and appreciation for the past as 'we' move forward. Great reaction Schnell!!
Great reaction, as usual. Sad? … I don’t know. To me it’s more pensive and the reminiscing of a young person at their coming of age. Standing at that first spreading of wings, into a new phase of life on their own. A little frightened to leave, yet ready for the adventures to come.
I'm glad to hear I'm not the only one that thinks it's a coming of age song. I live in the Midwest though so perhaps that's why, but that's what I've thought since the very first time I heard it. 🍟
I don't see this as a sad song. I see it as a song of moving on and to me that is always a good thing, a happy thing, a joyful thing, because as the song says, the past is not supposed to last, and everything before this moment is the past. We get to choose what we take with us into the next moment. So to me this song is about all the good things in life. Having the opportunity to say goodbye to something or someone is a moment of gratitude to me because it means I got to experience something or someone I cherished, and I know that because of that I get to cherish even more somethings and someones in my future.
This is a difficult time for me with my mom in hospice. This song really hits me hard in the feels. I love your reactions. I’d love to hear your reaction to Voctave’s Goodnight my someone. Their latest cover.
Dixie is a nickname for the southeastern states in the US. Tim was raised in Texas and Adam Chance was raised in Alabama. Both are sharing the lead about leaving Dixie to make a life for themselves elsewhere.
Schnell, listen to "My Maria" by Austin, Tim, and Chris. The guitar player is Chris Chatham, and he's done a lot of songs with Tim and Austin. In fact, he used to be in the same band as Tim, before Home Free. In "My Maria" Chris both plays the guitar, and sings with Tim and Austin, and trust me, he's awesome too!
Very nice reaction to this beautiful song. This is the title song from their new album, comprised of 12 out of the 14 songs being originals. Austin and Tim are really becoming excellent songwriters. Would like to request a reaction to one of my favorites from the album. I Love both "Stargazer Lilies" and "Playing with Fire", both written by Austin. Thanks
Hi my friend home free are absolutely amazing a young gentleman taking RUclips by storm is ren -hi ren this video has had 3 million views in 2 weeks and it is pure genius worth a look many thanks love and respect from the UK 👍👍👍👍👍👍🌟😀😀 amazing channel 👍
A very nice country song, sung nicely with the harmonies and guitar.........................but...............Pentatonix is simply the best....they are on a different level than any other acapella group.......but this was a nice performance..
Watching different people's reaction and their comment sections, I am amazed at the comments regarding Adam Rupp. There seems to be a split on the harmonica sound. Many people either love it or can barely hear it because the guitar drowns out the sound. I am in the latter group. If I did not see Adam Rupp putting his hands to his mouth, I would have thought he was doing background singing. I hear Adam Rupp for maybe 6 seconds of his harmonica playing and that was hard over the guitar. If Adam Rupp's mic volume was higher and the guitar volume lower it would be a better song.
I love this song! I got to hear it live with Maggie Baugh playing the guitar. If I could make reaction request, Jacob Restituto, the fellow RUclipsr you had an interview with in 2021, sang live on the Wish bus last year with his original song "Colorado." Would you do a reaction to that? I know he would appreciate it!
Another great reaction Schnell. You need to check out Tim's solo doo-wop songs. I'd start with, Will You Still Love Me Tomorrow/ Stay. Here's the link ruclips.net/video/8bN9bgwR0DI/видео.html
Acapella means voices only. Forgive me me if Im wrong....but as soon as the video starts....there is a guitar. I have 2 degrees in music. I can guarantee that the other "instrumental" sounds are from actual instruments. I am.offended by this group. Hate me if you have to.
Home Free has not claimed that this particular performance is acapella although 99% of their performances are. PTX and Voiceplay will also sometimes use a musical instrument in a performance.

the guitarists name is Chris Chatham and you can see him in a great great music video My Maria by Tim and Austin...

This song was written by Tim, Austin, chris Chatmon witch is a old friend and collaborator of Tim's and Adam from Texas Hill .
The guitarist is Chris Chatham a friend of Tim's. Tim and Austin were talking about leaving home and collaborated with Chris to write this song.

Love this original song. Love the location of this video. Chris Chatham does a great job on the guitar as well as Adam on his harmonica.❤️❤️❤️❤️
That pouty lip was adorable 🤗

Homefree has a way of singing into our souls !
...and YOU are so beautiful! I may be old but I'm not blind or dead yet! Your reactions are entertaining and we all thank you for them. Be well, Duke
The guitar is the only instrument in the clip. The harmonica sound is made by Adam Rupp. All Home Free sound better while wearing headphones.
Adam is doing a harmonica, just like in O Brother Where Art Thou.
Hey Doofus. The song is "Man of Constant Sorrow". HF never did O Brother Where Art Thou, because it's not a song, it's a movie title.
I heard this in concert in October 2022 in Reading, PA. It is such a beautiful song. Sounds much better live.
Yes he is. Harmonica out of empty hands is a trademark Adam Rupp skill.
This song is so awesome. This an original and I absolutely love it. Love your reaction!
Austin also does "no-monica" also with Adam when they do Man of Constant Sorrow. The guys did say no more videos outside in COLD weather! Outside of Denver after their concert I believe. Thank you for your great reaction!
I love Tim and his beautiful voice but Chance is fantastic both base and singing in this song. Love them all.
Adam's harmonica sounds are excellent!
🥰🥰🥰🥰
Yes, Adam is the human harmonica.
YES
Such a great original song from these guys you might want to check out "Sweet and Low" another group with Tim Austin and friends.
I was surprised that you didn't remember Adam Rupp's "no monica" in their cover of "Man of Constant Sorrow". Gotta shout out Adam for that organ

Schnell, you make me SO happy too!
P.S. I ama Canadian raised in Texas (my father was in the oil industry, but my sister and I are 3rd Gen Carleton grads/2nd Gen CU Cheerleaders lol).

Personally didn't like it at all.
@@scottdarden3091 Me neither.
@@dagmar.6954 I've seen the exact word for word comment on another reaction video.
Chris Chatham is the guitarist for Sweet& Low.! Tim and Austin's other band.! Guess you already know by now but just in case.
A very nice country song, sung nicely with the harmonies and guitar.........................but...............Pentatonix is simply the best....they are on a different level than any other acapella group.......but this was a nice performance..

You should listen to My Maria. It's awesome.

I enjoy your reactions. Could you react to Tim Foust sing Will you still love me/ Stay. Thank you
Hey Schnell, Great job! You have to do Voiceplay's cover of Metallica's "Nothing Else Matters". It is awesome!
It's a harmonica
Schnell sweetie, that's a harmonica not an organ... 🤣
You are beautiful
Adam is not doing an organ. It's a harmonica. 🤷♀️

He's making a sound like a harmonica not an organ
