I think Gievenchy does those powders every holiday season... they carry the generic packaging but they do the nice packaging each holiday season... so don't fear using it up. You should be able to get it again.

too faced born this way concealer and tatcha silk canvas primer are both products i did not like at first, but now i love. the creasing of the concealer used to bother me SO much, but now, I have come to appreciate the shade I purchased so much and learned to perfect it with the right setting powder. for the tatcha silk canvas i was convinced it did nothing for me and was upset i’d wasted so much money on it…until I started having more pronounced issues with my foundation settling into lines and pores in an unflattering way this summer and decided to give the silk canvas one more shot. i’m so glad i did! both i had for around a year before falling in love.

I had this experience with the Tatcha Silk Canvass primer. I don't like it as a primer, BUT I''ve been panning the Farsali liquid glass primer which can look a little over-glowey in areas where I have texture, etc. I've eschewed powders as they make my makeup look awful after wearing a mask, but the Tatcha behaves almost like a powder in that it takes down some of the glow & fills in pores when I use it on top of my makeup. I've been reaching for it non-stop since I discovered this trick.
I wasn't a huge fan of the Flower Beauty Petal pout lipsticks at first, mostly because the colors were all a lot more pink toned than I expected and I had been used to wearing matte liquid lipsticks for years. However, I started using a brown lip liner and really like the color and have come to appreciate the comfortable and reasonably long lasting formula.
Funny enough a product I hated at first but love now is the Saie Glowy Super Gel 😂 I got the mini size last Christmas when it dropped on Sephora and was instantly disappointed upon swatching. The way it dries down is awful but the champagne pearl is really beautiful and it’s perfect for mixing with Auric Glow Lust! Auric fixes the textural issue with it and I actually love applying it by itself on bare eyelids for that oily glossy look on no-makeup makeup days 😍 I just pile a bunch of it on and sometimes add the Gucci Eye Gloss on top and it’s perfect for that purpose!
this product disappointed me too but weirdly I can't seem to get rid of the bottle, I think I like the way it looks?? I have not tried mixing it with Glow Lust, will try!!

I mean, that’s on me for believing something 18yr olds on tiktok hype would work for my 30s skin =_= but then I just let it wear and it actually looks better with time as the skin oils hydrate it…it’s baffling. Looks so bad in the morning but then I look awesome by noon haha

I’m having trouble getting my blush and bronzer to work so I’m trying them separately. With a strong eye look, bronzer alone works best unless it’s a cool toned eye look then I must use orange blush. I’m weird that way.
I bought the Merit lip oil based on yours and Jamie Paige’s recommendation. I do like it a lot! A product I bought and had it sit around for a couple years was the Lancôme foundation stick. It just seemed too cakey on me. Seeing that it was probably going to expire soon, I decided to give it another try over moisturizer. Now I love it for quick makeup days and traveling, unfortunately it turned up missing at my mom’s house. Hopefully, it will turn up. 🙁

the blue isn't amazing. It's got a blackened base with blue shimmer, and the color is nice but it's not as intense and flaky/creamy as the gold. I think if you like blue to be grungy, it's ideal, but if you are looking for a super intense pop of blue you might be disappointed.
The honest blush first time I tried it I hated it. Recently with Tati back I decided to try it again(in the new packaging) and something clicked. I understand how to use the product and how to combine the product with my favorite powder blush to make something really beautiful.
Oh my gosh!!! The unexpected Cat Scarf!! Pure delight! Made me smile today. On a day that I woke up and had a 30 minute cry-sesh, not a sad cry. More of a detox cry. I'm under alot of stress this week ( really ugly situation at work, my boss being terminated because of our corporate office choosing to mandate a vaccine. Super sad!
