That looks absolutely fabulous. Such gorgeous views of the water and mountains. Some nice forest and meadows along the way too. I really appreciate the crisp, clear, non-shakey clips. The music was perfect. Wonderful!
Thank you so much! Sometimes it’s hard to get the clips to not be shaky, and so the ones you see means that I didn’t trip on a rock 👌🏼 I really appreciate the words, and for your support!
Does that make it a triathlon? Aha thankfully it all worked out the way it did! If you’ve never done this one I definitely suggest it as a great early season trip. There’s a summit hike to a peak known as McGregor mountain that we really want to go back and tackle someday too. Thanks for checking out the channel today and for the comments!
You betcha! It was kind of a fun way to backpack, and getting dropped off at the trailhead by a ferry made for a unique experience. Hopefully you can get some friends to tag along. Thanks for watching the video!
@@DannyJSchaefer I busted my knee going down the last few miles, but the trail was beautiful! (and hot). We got goat cheese, but ate it before we got home, it was just too good!
Right on! It’s definitely a good early season trip and helped me get back into shape for some of our other trips planned this summer. Harlequin campground was beautiful, and is definitely recommended. Thanks for watching the video!
Great video Dan. Planning a trip next year where we ferry to Skehekin, catch a shuttle to High Bridge, then start hitchhiking/hiking to CottonWood campsite, then start heading up to the Ptarmigan Traverse route. Once we hit White Rock Lakes we'll off-trail for a couple days and eventually get to Holden/Lucerne and catch the ferry back. Should be an adventure
Thanks Guy! That sounds like quite the trip you have planned. I'd be lying if I said I wasn't a little bit jealous - The Ptarmigan Traverse looks awesome and is on my list, as well as McGregor Mountain. Stehekin seems to be the gateway to some great backcountry adventures. Thanks for checking out the video and for commenting! Would love to have you as a subscriber if interested. Have a great time on your trip!
Awesome video

@@DannyJSchaefer your very welcome. I support anyone in the outdoor community I can. I'm a new channel and it's a grind so I help where I can.
@@DannyJSchaefer plus I genuinely love hiking content im a backcountry fanatic lol
@@JTDOutdoors Same here. Are you based here in the PNW as well and have you done the Chelan Lakeshore Trail yet?
@@DannyJSchaefer I'm in Vernon British Columbia. I have a huge backyard to play in here.

A boat ride, a hike, and a bike ride? That’s some good planning right there!

Beautiful place! Thank you so much for sharing! Great video!
Thank you so much Gracie! Really appreciate that. You’ll have to check it out for yourself sometime!
Thank you for sharing this. I hope I can get some of my friends to do this one with me!

It's on my list.... see any snakes? How were the ticks? Great vid as always....
No snakes, no ticks.. that I know of anyways! You’ll have to do it one of these times - it definitely makes for a good early season trip. Thanks Len!
Heck yeah! What a scenic place. We just got back! Can’t believe the owner of the garden completed the PCT in 1975!
Yeah dude! Pretty cool right? How was the trail? And did you guys buy any goat cheese etc.. from him? We got some syrup. Haha

Nice trip. I think it will be my spring shake down every year. Glad to see the campground, will try and stay there next time.

It was awesome! Thanks for checking it out, and I hope you’re doing well. Cheers!
You may have posted this but what was your itinerary? I’m looking to do something exactly like this! Thanks!
Nevermind I found the description lol
Sorry for taking a few days to get back to you! Did you find the information you were looking for?
@@DannyJSchaefer no worry’s, yeah I did thank you!
