There are so many great memories from that time I could write a book but I'll just share one memory that makes me laugh when I think of it. Most of you know I've been building a Gnome Home since 2014. I write stories, take pictures, and most of the time I'm living in that world. I guess you could say I'm a bit of an eccentric but #LifeIsGood I was building one day in the Gnome's home when Jordan's face lit up like a lightbulb and he was completely serious, "MA! I found the perfect husband for you! You should marry Radagast the Brown. You guys would be perfect together!" Let's think about this a bit shall we, Radagast is an eccentric wizard living in a wonky house in the forest. He's a protector of animals and is a friend to the birds. He travels by way of sleigh pulled by 12 Rhosgobel rabbits. Yup! That sounds about perfect to me, my boy, a match made in a magical forest! ❤❤❤ That day I decided I would eventually make a mini Radagast just for sweet memories sake. I'll never forget his face all lit up when he said that to me, I giggle every time I think of it, it's the way he sees me! And yes, I would totally live in that house. #TrueLoveForever
I don’t know the character, apart from watching you creating him and telling the story about making a husband, the bird poop just kill me, so much detail, you are my favourite creative RUclipsr. And you make everything look easy to make.
A few months ago of channel surfing, I spotted your video. I watched and saved it. Finally after knee surgery, I started a piece today. Thanks so much for your tutorial.
☘👍Dear Sharon, today I found your Website on youtube, I'm really excited and have subscribed, the minis and the wizard and and and, I love stuff like that. Kind regards from Austria. Your videos are great. 👍
Sharon, this was a long video but I could not stop watching it. This is just an amazing process and I keep wondering how in the world do you know how to do all that stuff. I am encouraged to try making my own gnome using your helpful video. I have learned so much from your video's in the past as well. THANK YOU! I love your Rataghast!
I can’t thank you enough! I’ve made a version of your hedgehog and now onto this! I’m loving every minute! I can’t believe you can make all this from these materials! You’ve opened my mind and world up so much! Thank you, thank you, thank you xxx 🙏🏼🤍
I absolutely loved watching your video, it's so nice you left in the mistakes and explained them. The finished model is awesome, so clever and the use of foil and paper towels incredable, would never have thought of that. Thank you for sharing your amazing talent
Thank you so much! I really appreciate that feedback. It sounds so cheesy but mistakes really are wonderful things that teach us so much. Years ago I would stress over those mistakes but I've grown quite fond of them, especially when building trees because fixing those adds so much more character to the finished tree.
lol I have to make a number of things for this guy yet, like a sleigh, rabbits and more. I probably won't make it in there before I have to move onto other things but thank you so much for the fun idea!
Thanks for the cool video. I am trying different art and crafts. This will be on my list of future art projects. I’ve already made miniature room, and started house, faux stained glass. This will be in the future.
Thank you so much! And I’ll never run out, a bag would make a gazillion eyeballs lol I love them. I was in my craft room cleaning earlier and found myself admiring his face, thinking his eyes have held up very nicely. They still have a sparkle when he looks at me ❤️
I was watching an earlier video of yours where you were building a tree using a bunch of small boxes. In the introduction video you stated that you used to make castles out of dressers, I think if you made a series of castle videos it’d be cool. Of course that’s if you wanted-it is your channel after all, love your creativity and easy to follow directions too 😊
Sharon, all I can say is this is awesome. You were the first person I dared follow a video and I made several of your animal amigurumi and I fell in love with your teaching skills boy did it work for me. My favorite was an inspired character of a story about a forest and trees I can't remember the name but I was so proud of you and me because your voice and teaching made it possible for me to complete the project from beginning to the end. With that being said this video is something I want to try and when I do I will be sharing so you can see my take on this. So glad I once again bumped into you.❤❤❤❤
You are so clever and imagination is over the roof 😀, all the important things that a genius has and Radagast wife (of course 🥰). You are unbelievably creative and I love to watch you work, figuring how to solve a problem. Even more I love your voice and your warm laughter always makes me smile. Keep up doing what you do best, everything creative 😀. Blessing from a Finnish 🇫🇮 woman living in Sweden
ohhhhh!! I do get a skip in my heart when my fellow Finnish people stop by to say hello. Your comment made my day and I thank you for the kind words and wonderful feedback. I was on the phone with my mother when your comment came through so I read it to her, she said hello to you, lol Again, thank you. Lots of love from this Finnish girl living in Canada ❤️🇫🇮❤️
Amazing! I love how you use materials that anyone can get hold of and they aren't expensive either. Will watch some more of your videos you're so clever! ❤️
Okay I've seen all of your tree videos and now I'm hooked on these. You're such an amazing teacher 🤗 I just made a double batch of paperclay today. Time for me to build a foil armature. Maybe a fairy 🤔☺
Love the thread and wire hand technique!!!! I was going to try clay but I like this so much better! I swear I think about how many comments I leave and think of what you must think, "stalker, much?" ;) I just love your work so much I can't even put it into words! You've made it possible for me to get all the ideas in my head, out into the physical form! Thank you, thank you, thank you!
You are so clever. I really love your videos/tutorials and you have such a lovely voice. How brilliant that your son thought Ragnagast would be your perfect husband. I don’t have kids, but I do have two Godsons and I would love it if they ever said/thought something like that about me. Bless you for sharing your talent with us. 😘
You're welcome and thank you so much! I really appreciate that, I'll let my son know what you said :) He's been enjoying watching me create this tiny husband he picked out for me, lol and the lovely comments about his excellent choice.
He is magnificent! Your attention to detail such as his cheek position when he smirks is incredible. I so excited to see your idea about the yarn "fluff"...it is perfect! We all have our favorite tools to use and for me it was an x-acto knife. After watching ton's of videos during COVID, I saw so many artisans using ball tools for everything from painted mandalas, curving flower petals and FIMO faces. I can't remember exactly what it was that I was doing that made me decide to order a set but I did. Now I have about 10, in a variety of sizes and I LOVE them!! They are incredibly easy to use and I have never been an artist who has to have a lot of tools. Like I said, I could smooth a surface with an X-acto so why have a separate tool? The ball tools have really been a joy to have. They are excellent for eye sockets, noses, cheeks and general modeling. I think you would really enjoy having a set.
thank you so much, I really appreciate the suggestion. I actually have a couple of them, they are wonderful when working with clay for sure. I haven't yet tried the ball on paper towels though, maybe next time I'll try it. I use a pointy tool so that I can move the material around easily, I need to be able to poke at it and drag it. Paper towel details will never be as smooth as clay when dried that's just part of the deal when working with that material, lol but with that said, clay can be used instead of the paper towels when you get to that step. Thanks again, I truly appreciate it. Happy crafting!
Thanks for sharing your talent with us, I'm working on a doll house myself and making characters for the house was something I couldn't figure out but after watching you this has given me some ideas, Thank you once again.
he really does, he thinks he's super cool. I showed him this guy in the cape I just finished last night and his eyes went wide, "MOM! He's cool" lol I can't wait to finish and show him the rest :)
Absolutely adorable, you are amazing! I was thinking, for the rags on his hands, you could make some very strong coffee and dye your cheese cloth that way. I have done it and it works well. Thank you for sharing your amazing talents!
Thank you very much! And yes, I use coffee dye a lot but for the rags I wanted a different color than coffee would give me so chose the brown paint, I do his cape in the next video and show how I use coffee dye in that. I love love love staining stuff with coffee, lol best stain ever for many different things :)
First time I found your channel. I am hooked. You are awesome. Great work. I may even try some time. Will be watching everyone of your videos. Thanks for sharing your talent with us.
I love him! I had to hunt for the comment with the timestamps but that is such an adorable story. And yes I always figure out an easier way to do something once I'm just about done 😆
I use armature wire to make the hands then paint them with Madge lodge to make them thicker because you can add as many layers as you need for the smoothness and thickness
I LOVE watching you creating and making things. Your imagination and creativity has no bounds Sharon. Thank you so much for sharing. I also LOVE that our last names both have "J's" in them that are pronounced as "Y's". I rarely come across people like. ❤❤❤ 😎

You could have a nail file handy and just take the edge off those wires your using for fingers just so they don’t prick you while your working it would make the tape clay mixture last longer
Well you need a sip of coffee now...artistry is absolutely amazing,I paint, everything also create, I love inanimate objects...Oh I know I’ll make a Woods man
He is absolutely so charming! Like, I wanna give him a hug. I had not heard of this guy before today. You are so clever! Love the way you captured that sweet memory by creating this cute dude. I had to google him to find out more info, and I can't wait to see him when he's finished. Are you making a staff for him to hold?
Here in the Philippines we call all gnomes, elf, leprechauns, goblins, trolls, brownies, and pixies as duende or "nuno sa punso". "Nuno sa punso" is an elf sitting on an ant hill, it is also a dwarf like element with evil power. While we call fairies as engkantada, ada, or nimpa like the woman called "Mariang Makiling" a goddess of nature.
Thanks for subbing! I haven't made a fairy yet but today I have a video coming out showing how to get fairy hair that I kind of stumbled upon by accident, I just fixed his hair. When I first made him I had said I wanted to eventually fix it, make it longer and add a bit of wave.
he is so adorable and I so want to try this, but I'm not good at making faces. so I don't know if I would be good at making one. but you did an amazing job.
I'm not that great at faces either but in this video I do walk you through all of it, step by step. I made some mistakes but I show how I fixed them too. I hope you try it! Keep me posted if you do :)
При изготовлении пальцев рук сначала каждый кусочек проволки я обертываю малярным скотчем. Это намного быстрее и поверхность получается гладкой. Остаётся только собрать кисть руки и покрасить. Спасибо!
He’s sooo cool!i can’t believe how much he looks like the pic..the nose is the same!!.it’s amazing to watch u..did u go to college and take art or something..there is nothing u can’t make..!!! I love the shoes!!I have been glued watching u..lol..when u started his hair, and got to top of his head I thought he looks good with a partially bald head too..u did such a great job Sharon…was the material u used for his coat the same material u used on one of gnomies floors? It looked familiar..I love him!
thank you so much! I never took art in school because I never felt artistic until after I had my kids. It was being being a single mom that led me down this path. Once they were in bed for the night I started crafting them stuff to play with to pass the many hours I had to myself and to also make them things I couldn't afford to buy them. Which is the reason I craft with the materials I do, clay and other crafting supplies were too expensive! Seeing them freak out over stuff I made for them was all I needed to become completely obsessed. And yes, that material is from a huge bag of upholstery scraps I found in a thrift store yrs ago.. it's been a never ending supply for me, lol

*Storytime: Radagast Would Make The Perfect Husband*
A few years ago my youngest son and I watched The Hobbit and Lord Of The Rings together. There are so many great memories from that time I could write a book but I'll just share one memory that makes me laugh when I think of it.
Most of you know I've been building a Gnome Home since 2014. I write stories, take pictures, and most of the time I'm living in that world. I guess you could say I'm a bit of an eccentric but #LifeIsGood
I was building one day in the Gnome's home when Jordan's face lit up like a lightbulb and he was completely serious,
"MA! I found the perfect husband for you! You should marry Radagast the Brown. You guys would be perfect together!"
Let's think about this a bit shall we,
Radagast is an eccentric wizard living in a wonky house in the forest. He's a protector of animals and is a friend to the birds. He travels by way of sleigh pulled by 12 Rhosgobel rabbits.

And yes, I would totally live in that house.
#TrueLoveForever
Cuuuute! That is one of those treasured memories for sure! He kinda sounds like the guy for you!
The actor that played Radaghast also played Dr Who way back in the 80s... hard to miss with a Time Lord AND a Wizard... :)
ohhh I actually didn't know that! What a catch he is!! lol
That Jordan is one wise lad! Maybe he could hunt me up a new man!
lol I'll tell him you said so :)
I don’t know the character, apart from watching you creating him and telling the story about making a husband, the bird poop just kill me, so much detail, you are my favourite creative RUclipsr. And you make everything look easy to make.

@@WhereTheGnomesLive My maiden name is Coffel from Kovel, Ukraine. My married name is Jaunzemis and it's Latvian. My late husband's parents were from there.
Woow it's amazing😍👌.. You are so talented👌❤ and hardworking... Love from... India🇮🇳
He is GORGEOUS. I love him! x
thank you!
You make everything look so easy...
You could have a nail file handy and just take the edge off those wires your using for fingers just so they don’t prick you while your working it would make the tape clay mixture last longer
I love his lentil eyes 😀
Picture wire doesn’t break easily and works well too for arms.
You are so amazing, I love to watch you work.
Thank you very much!
I am always so impressed by what you make without clay. It's really inspiring. Thanks for sharing with us :)

I had to google him to find out more info, and I can't wait to see him when he's finished. Are you making a staff for him to hold?

SNAZZY LOOKING SHOES
Here in the Philippines we call all gnomes, elf, leprechauns, goblins, trolls, brownies, and pixies as duende or "nuno sa punso". "Nuno sa punso" is an elf sitting on an ant hill, it is also a dwarf like element with evil power. While we call fairies as engkantada, ada, or nimpa like the woman called "Mariang Makiling" a goddess of nature.
good afternoon. i am slowly making my guy. i hope mine will look just as awesome as yours. thanks for inspiring me. veronica

New sub, Love your gnomes and little gnome homes!!! Do you make fairy dolls as well?
He's awesome! Now he needs his house lol (but Without the giant spiders)
Absolutely love your videos 💕
Thank you so much!! I'm so glad you do, it means a lot :)
I love Radagast in the Hobbit!
Its so amazing, i really love to watch ur videos. 💋
При изготовлении пальцев рук сначала каждый кусочек проволки я обертываю малярным скотчем. Это намного быстрее и поверхность получается гладкой. Остаётся только собрать кисть руки и покрасить. Спасибо!
I love your mouse! Super cute.
This is fantastic! Annnnd inexpensive !

You are amazing! Thank you for sharing!

@@WhereTheGnomesLive ..well u have a god given talent and u were lucky enough to find it..well we r the lucky ones that u share and teach us so much!!❤️..how’s your dad doing?..hope all is well with everyone..stay safe!!
he's doing great, still working. He calls me every morning around 7am, that's when he's on his first coffee break of the day. He then tells me what he's been up to. He just built a new roof over an extension he added to his workshop because he needed a bigger workshop, of course! Dear old dad, he's a crazy old man who never stops but we love that guy, lol
@@WhereTheGnomesLive staying active and busy is probally keeping him young and healthy..he reminds me so much of my granddad..I love when he’s in your videos..much love❤️
You are so creative!!!!!
thank you very much!
