Really good video. Nice to hear your thoughts and explanations throughout the video!
Hey there, glad you enjoyed the voice over, Its always a decision whether to include them or not!
I've been 2 hours straight watching this series, loved it. The way you explain everything and record is just perfect!
Greetings from Argentina and congrats on this little bike!
Hey there, Thank you! Chuffed that you have enjoyed the restoration. Its great to hear some positive feedback....I think you will like the next one! cough cough 1969 CT70 !
@@MasonsWorkshop I saw that CT70 sitting in the back! I own a 1979 ST70 Dax, so I'm excited on this next project.
Hope to see more videos soon. Cheers!
Ingenious. Start with the engine and bolt everthing else to it. I would have probably assembled the frame, wheels and everything. Then try to mount the engine.
🙂👍
Thankyou, I have only learnt this from watching others! It does make it a lot easier when you know the best way to assemble.
nice video!
Thanks! Glad you enjoyed it
well done lad! I'm looking for my own decent enough z50 to refurb, your videos will be a fantastic help when my time comes. cheers
Great to hear! they are super fun projects. If you ever have any questions, feel free to drop me a message/email. I've found a place for most parts and have come across many many issues and found solutions so should always be able to help. Good luck with it
@@MasonsWorkshop how much did the full project cost in the end? Also, is your video up of you riding the bike now it's complete?
I paid £1500 for the bike and realistically spent similar if not more on parts/materials but I haven't added it up. As these bikes get rarer the part price becomes crazy. Good paint, chroming, zinc plating all add up. If you love it, its worth every penny. I actually had a few leaks on this engine along with deciding to get some bits repainted and zinc plated to make it perfect. Just waiting to button those things up then ill be insuring it and taking it on a proper ride! and yes it is fully road registered! If you follow my Instagram (mason_bennett54) I have loads of content on it and can answer any questions via direct message!
Have you still got this bike? Looking at buying one myself same year/decals I hope! 👍🏻
Yes, I still have the bike. Awesome, if you ever need some buying advice I’ll be more than happy to help 👍🏻 great looking bikes
