Well said. At first I wanted for someone to give him a hug and say that everything is going to be alright. But then he himself was in on the joke, so somehow it all became better by the end.

I'm glad he decided to embrace the fact that he gets killed off in like all of his movies. I saw an interview with him about 2 years ago and when they asked him about his characters always dying it was like he had never put the pieces together. Good on ya Mr. Bean!

I totally adore him! Great sense of humor he's got. Making fun out of his death list in this very natural and elegant way just shows how genuine he is. Only a brilliant actor can afford that kind of jokes againts himself. He's an Emmy winner, he's already proved a lot. And you know what? He's even amazingly genial and graceful in this short, funny video. Just like a God. That's all. Perfect. Love him. :D
Sometimes I wonder if a casting director sees in a script a character dies and immediately calls his agent.
I've only known Sean Bean not dying in one film project, Sharpe, that's it. In that British show his practically immortal. In every movie or other show I've seen him....he dies.

He's a good actor so why does everyone want to kill him god damn it ? :). Boromir Death scene was pretty epic though I have to say. I was like 14 when I saw that and I wanted him to get up so badly. Really great scene.

@5of6 He actually doesn't die *that* much. His deaths just happen to be his most famous roles (Alec Trevelyan, Boromir, Eddard Stark etc.). On the list of top deaths he's like 4th or 5th. John Hurt is the first one.
I honestly believe him not dying in the Silent Hill movies was meant as a plot twist. Everybody expected him to die.
The Martian, Robin, Bravo Two Zero, national treasure, Troy, Flight Plan, etc these are movies where he doesn't die

Is anyone else surprised he's living through Silent Hill so far? I figured he would have died in the first one. Nope. Then, OK, definitely the second one, yeah? Nope. He lives. And if you played the games you'd realize they're way off cannon. The second movie is just way off in so many facets.

I actually watched Troy today and found out he played Odysseus in it. Which is funny, 'cause I was thinking, well, at least he can't die here, otherwise Homer would rise from his grave and kill the director for too many inconsistencies with his Iliad. :p
