Walking from Liichterfelde to Steglitz side and main streets.
Lichterfelde is a district in the Berlin district of Steglitz-Zehlendorf1. It is known for its two villa colonies, Lichterfelde Ost and Lichterfelde West2. Lichterfelde West was founded in 1860 and is the oldest residential area in Berlin3. Here, stately, imaginative villas from the Wilhelminian and Art Nouveau periods characterize the cityscape, as well as large gardens, small tree-lined avenues, gas lighting and cobbled streets3. The villas are often used by diplomats for representation purposes3.
