Box turtles are the only kind of land turtle here in the eastern USA. As kids we would catch them but then feed them totally wrong food (raw ground meat). I also once rescued one that a cruel kid had shot with a target arrow.

Si comen carne molida, en realidad son omnivoras y yo pensaba que eran vegetarianas 🤦🏼‍♀️, lo que no pueden comer son citricos 🍋🍊. Aca en mi pais Argentina tambien hay tortugas de tierra, como se les llama ( para distinguirlas de las acuaticas )🤗🇦🇷

Poor turtle... does it is inmunosupressed? A recurrent abcess must be paiful 😢.
