Rest in peace! I miss seeing him Downtown and he is truly missed. I just moved back here and just found out that he passed away and my heart was crushed. 💜🙏

He made some great points that are still relevant today. Leslie was ahead of his time.

I was a daily Busker in Austin 2020, at noon on Guadalupe Street at 6:00 to 6th. Street until 4:00 AM. The City of Austin bought me a Vintage Gibson MK 53 Guitar the first month I got to town, with a $75.00 Pawn Shop guitar I bought in Hot Springs, AR.

Leslie was a total embarrassment and a prime example of what is wrong with my birth city and the people currently living there that held him to such "high regards" I hate to talk bad about anyone during the time frame of their death. But this is just totally insane that people supported him like they did. Gotta love society these days. May God help us all

A weirdo but with a golden heart. Judging someone because theyre weird is the real problem with society

As an embarassment, he made more people feel welcome and accepted, believe it or not. God doesn't just shine on those in McMansions who are keeping up with the Jones. A hermit in the California desert spent alot of time alone avoiding the fast paced death culture: his name was Leonard Knight. He built a monument to God that was also welcoming and amused visitors (Salvation Mountain). "God is love", was the message at Salvation Mountain.
Leslie was loved and even respected more than all your right wing conventional authority figures, believe it or not. He was no APD Lt. Hector Polonca who coerced false confessions in major murder cases. He didn't help cover up an illegal community gang stalking surveillance. He didn't shoot Danny Rocha (19 yr old kid buying a bag of weed on the east side). He didn't cover up the Yogurt Shop Murders like others did. He wasn't a good solid citizen dedicated to Commie Community Gang Stalking as official policy and practise.

This comment is an embarrassment, not just to the rest of us "Austinites" but to humanity!
