  • This is the decklist (also posted below) for Grand Moff I played at locals and went undefeated with so feel free to let me know if you have any suggestions or if you just like the deck! Thanks :)
    DECKLIST:
Grand Moff Tarkin / Energy Conversion Lab
    3x Tie/Ln Fighter
    3x Colonel Yularen
    3x Viper Probe Droid
    3x Admiral Piett
    3x Snowtrooper Lieutenant
    2x Consortium Starviper
    3x Attack Pattern Delta
    3x Emperor's Royal Guard
    1x Cell Block Guard
1x General Veers (should be an extra traitorous)
    3x Superlaser Technician
    3x Resupply
    3x Command
    2x Traitorous
    2x Rukh
    3x Steadfast Battalion
    3x Overwhelming Barrage
    3x AT-ST
    3x Reinforcement Walker
If you have Darth Vader I would drop 1 rukh 1 cell block guard and last one maybe the other rukh or a yularen or whatever feels best but Vaders are sweet just didn't own any at the time.

There are 2 Store Championships that I am looking to attend this weekend and next weekend so I loaded up your deck on force Table to playtest against mine. I didn't even realize until the 3rd game that you were Mono Green. I was like how did he play Command for 4 Resources?! I went 10-0. The only other deck I haven't playtested against is Han but I am confident with the deck that I have been piloting for the past 2 weeks.Your deck must have been favorable for your local meta. Kudos to you for your Store Championship victory!

Thanks appreciate the comment lol. Having 9 ramp was awesome. Force table however is not really a great testing site as the ai will generally make poor choices. If you want to test I’d recommend karabast to play against other players at least but I wish you luck in your store championships!

I have to mimic the sentiment that Force Table is really not good for testing matchups. It's barely a step above goldfishing since an actual person will never pilot it like the AI. It makes a LOT of mistakes.

@@Stricken314 true that. I basically just use it to test interactions or new cards to see how they feel. Force table is an awesome starting point to feel out your own deck but it’s nowhere near like playing against a real opponent.

@@papastones Absolutely. I also use it to get a feel for my resourcing decisions in a deck, but thats about the extent of it.

@@Stricken314 yah generally speaking it helps me cut and change cards if there’s multiple games where I just resource something I thought would be better then I’ll just drop it for a better card!

Hi. Don't want to be mean or something, but "undefeated"... Really ? I play Tarkin green since a month and have 40% of success with it. Have you fight against a Sabine green/Yellow ? A Han green ? an Iden Blue or Palpatine green ? Those match ups are super difficult for Tarkin and there is no way you can be "undefeated", specially without any confisctades or Devastators in your list. Don't get me wrong, I love playing Tarkin Green, but you can't say it is a powerfull deck against meta ones. It is simply not.

Have literally played everyone of those matchups lol. I’ve lost one game in the last month to a han green deck which I talked about in a later video. Any deck is playable against meta if you know how to pilot the matchup well. Devastator is way past a turn I want to get to. And I have confiscates in the side deck. I appreciate the take but our results will never be the same. For instance there was a Luke green list that was performing well for a while but I couldn’t get it to feel that good. If you personally seek just the best deck then just play the best deck but me personally I’ve had great success on this list.

@@papastones Thanks for your answer. I really have bad match ups against Boba yellow and Sabine green. Those decks are too fast for Tarkin. I mean, when Sabine have all her tools in hand, she can crush you in no time. I'm really curious how you handle thoses matches with your Tarkin list. My list is differrent. I tried to be faster by including a maximum of ambush unites in it. I droped the ECL base cause I never had enough time to be powerfull enough with 25 points. If you want to do a video on how you play Tarkin, I'll be very curious to see it, cause I played this deck more than 200 times and maybe I'm missing something (I have a 40% xin with it). And sorry for my english, it is not my natural language.

@@TheROne1974 Sabine green will occasionally have those really nuts hands you can’t do anything about but generally speaking yularen and starviper are what you are looking for early then a steadfast battalion to run over Sabine or dodonna. Royal guards can also keep them at bay. Boba yellow is an interesting one though as everything is just situational to the game to which approach you go. ECL is too good for this deck though. Ecl a starviper against sabines turn one a-wing and they’re already behind plus you have healing onboard. Against boba when they flip you an ecl your steadfast battalion and immediately clear boba which is pretty crushing to there game plan. I’ll try and post some karabast games at some point but I’m in the world to try and record some live games so stay tuned and hopefully I can show you my style 😃
