    So this is the Soundcore Motion 300, its a very portable, durable and loud 30 watt speaker that’s also very affordable. For today we’re going to see how it compares to the Bose Soundlink Flex. Now these two speakers looks very similar to one another… but they are very different from one another.

    I feel like having another comparison between the bass up on and off would've made more sense but other than that, nice short but detailed review that doesn't artificially drag out too long. I think I prefer the Bose but for the price the Motion 300 seems very good!

      Indeed. Not sure if it is just the bass mode, or a motion signature sound, but the mids are too high and disrupting the other frequencies.

    The thing about that bose that impresses me, is how clever the tuning is. Listening to it outdoors, makes it sound very big because of it's upper bass, which gives the illusion of having lots of bass outdoors where you usually can't hear deep bass from small speakers.
    So for outdoors the flex is not only comfirtable to hold, but it has a perfect tuning for outdoors.
    It's a very specific v shaped eq that gives a smooth listening experience, because it doesn't focus on upper mids, which is why the sound is so buttery.
    Speakers like the charge 5 have a more "in your face" type of tuning, better for vocals and certain types of music.

    I have the Bose Soundlink Flex. One Ruby red and another one all black. And when you pair them together in stereo mode, they sound phenomenal for the size of the speaker. The sound signature on the Bose keeps the bass easily audible no matter the volume level, and the highs are not to bright to the point they drown out the rest of the instrumentation on the music track.

Did you do the test both ways and just not put it in video or are you making assumptions? Based on this alone, I would struggle make any decisions based on your review.

    The flex has a tendency of shooting up mids and highs when there's no bass at all and dropping bass slightly after a certain interval (about 5 - 10 seconds) when the lows get back in the track. The speaker resonates better when placed in front of something solid like a wall/corner of a closed room etc. I just don't like it playing in the open. Hot mention, it's nice if you can get two flex speakers and sync them with the app - way better sound. I'm waiting for my soundcore to arrive

    Bose is lazy. Pay more for less. Sounds a little clearer and has more physical bass when laid down position. Other than those two things, Soundcore wins at price, full feature app that will update speaker via portable device without a full desktop computer, removable strap, dimmable function lights, better battery life than Bose as well. I’m a Bose fan. They are awesome. I’m not sure if the Bose marginal sound quality is making up for overall cost and lack of function. I was going to return my two Soundcore 300. I did compare the Bose flex and the Motion 300 at home. Had to return the Bose within 14days. The more I have had time to think about it. I’d much rather spend less on a portable speaker and more on a home speaker. I’m an artist that listens to audio all day everyday for the most part. I do wish Bose stepped up their game. Form and Function combined with beautiful sound then you can charge $250 for two speakers. Also to both brands. Where’s the input connection. Y’all trying to be cheap like Apple.

    The speakers on the Bose copycat are clearly not woofers. They are obviously full range drivers or else they wouldn't be able to produce treble. How the hell are you reviewing speakers 🤦🏻‍♂️

      Quite frankly my Bose SoundLink Flex does not sound tremendously muffed. Very very clear tremendous sound. BELIEVE ME 👌

    As with all things Bose. The Flex will be 50 years old and people will still be like .... "Will my new trash FINALLY compete with Bose"😭😭😭

      Thats why the Flex is so often compared to the Soundcore Motion Plus wich is much newer.

      @IAmKAZMO 8 месяцев назад +1

      @felixgraber2415 Soundcore has ZERO to do with anything Bose. You/ WE make the comparisons. The Motion Plus is a Stereo System. The Flex is a Mono speaker that sounds like Stereo. Zero in common other than . Another "Wannabe" scenario. 🙄

      Mono speaker with overboost bass that overshadow the other frequencies can´t be superior.
