The AHM is definitely meant and designed as an install mixer. Even when I’ve installed them, I’m not a huge fan, but they’re meant to set and forget basically.
It would look better if the XLR sockets were mouted inside the panel, not outside. At 10:10 your cables (far left and right) are way to tight, they will fail in the future for sure.
Im glad I wasn’t the only one thinking the exact same thing. Gives those wires some slack. And then also at 12:20 the IEC power cable stretched….eek….either move the end to the closer plug or relieve some of that tension lol. I’m OCD like that. But otherwise cool vid
i can feel the scratching from those zip ties on my arm while watching the video hehe How come nobody already commented on how much betterer they would do it ? ... RUclips these days... For cables that are not meant to be touched again, like those in racks, i'd consider cable lacing instead of zip ties. easy to undo when reworking the rack, and reuseable obviously. and no more bloodshed :p

I’ve been thinking about doing something similar, except putting an IO panel and an AHM16 in a 2U rack
Sounds like a killer setup!
Was your phone ringing constantly? 😀
3D printer running
Really made me nervous and i had to use an eq at 148hz to get rid of that sound :D :D :D Anyway, i love those videos !

being fair thats really not what the AHM is for
Totally agree, that's why it didn't work out for me
Bro plz do a vedio on ahm16
I no longer have an AHM 16, maybe I could do a walk through on the offline editor.
