Actually, what's happening is your brain is entraining itself to the beat of the song since it is so consistent and distinct. It happens in conversations when talking too, people will match the speed they are walking to the rate of conversation with someone! I am a music therapist and we actually use this very technique to help encourage speech patterns and gait!
