If you're above average at the game, they don't. If they earn money from the game being good for low skill players, they will earn more money from 10 of those players buying the game than you leaving it.
Literally was able to return the game through the xbox store. The first few matches were great. Then I played free for all and got a lot of kills for a few matches. Next thing you know I'm getting destroyed in all other team based modes where it's 0 fun and just aggravating.

yeah man i have an average of 600 mb/s and was like should i switch to a better one while i for sure have the best connection in the entire lobby... done with gaming for sure after this one
Inexcusable in an online shooter. Can't believe it's effectively been dialed up since MW. Such a joke that the better you are the worse your connection is on top of facing CDL rejects. EDIT: Really appreciate the opinion piece just as much as the data. Pretty much the same line of thinking I have verbatim even down to the sad and pathetic extreme reverse booster thoughts. Appreciate the work fellas.
Fr, I hope this video gets out to most of the cod community. Feels like the OG players are getting punished for getting good at the game over the past decade
@@shifty1664 You hit it on the head. Activision seems to be doing things to cater to the younger 8-15yr old crowd because they got mommy's credit card. And slowly nudging the OG's that have been playing since the Original MW. since we now have families and do not play or pay as much on transactions, they really do not care what we think. @@yovannydominguez2860 exactly, they’re trying to go the fortnite route with the battle passes and warzone, they know the older players arnt gonna be throwing money at the game. So they have to transition and cater the younger players
So unfortunate but you’re 100% correct. And of course it’s a product and they have to make money, but the whole “same experience every time” ruins the point of an online game where you’re competing with other people.
Reverse boosting is Activision's fault, they put this system in place, and reverse boosting has been around ever since they did. They're the ones that haven't done anything about it, and it's a side effect of a system that nobody wants
I'm above average at COD, even really good when I was younger and had more time, but when I play this, I feel like everyone has better aim and reaction time. I do great a few rounds and then terrible the next few rounds. I am even sometimes losing gunfights I know I should have won and winning some gunfights that I should have lost.
@@Volticymo AW, WW2 and MW2019 all had strong SBMM. BO3, IW and BO4 not so much. BOCW just blew all the others out of the water with the strongest SBMM in cod public matches ever.
Why I stopped playing. Would get 30 - 50 ping for the first couple matches, then straight to 100 the rest of the day. F**k CoD. I'm done. It's one thing to protect noobs, it's another entirely to punish you for skill.
Same bro. Destroyed people left and right when have 30-50 ping and after being put in a lobby with those who have 5-20 ping and i have shitty 100+. It's unfair...
@@speedyspin I'm closest to the eastern US servers so I'd have 28 ping but it always expands the search so I end up having 50-60 ping from a farther away server where the enemies always see me first
As a super sweaty amateur cod player I completely agree with you I’ve been asking for it for years until then I’m gonna just try to torch everyone I run into
Pub stompers are mostly still gonna stay in regular playlists and not ranked. Why cant anyone understand this? People think they are so smart and clever by saying "hur dur make a ranked playlist problem solved hur dur"
In no COD should I be waiting for ages for a simple TDM match with crossplay on. Then after minutes of searching I get dumped into a half finished game.
In Halo MCC in social games, there's no SBMM and I get put into a lobby within 3 seconds and it usually puts me in the server closest to me so I have 28 ping. In Modern Warfare/Warzone, there's SBMM but it still manages to put me in a match where I have 30 ping and some other matches where I have 50 ping. Cold War on the other hand with it's SBMM purposely puts you in a 50 ping+ if you are doing well. When searching for a match, it tries to find the closed servers of 30 ping and then instantly expands the search to handicap my experience so that the enemy has a better connection and therefor they'll always see me first
they start banning ur account permentantly so you have to buy the game again. its for money. i wouldn't buy it again the game is a clusterf*ck that was throw together in 8 months and has 90% reused assets
SBMM is going to kill this game and future CoDs alike. It might even kill the entire franchise if they don't change anything about it. SBMM heavily influences the replayability of the game in a negative way.
I wish I could say otherwise but it literally won’t change anything. We on RUclips and social media in general are the vocal minority. Even if we all boycotted Activision would just drop MW2 remastered packed with micro transactions and we would all come back anyway.
The sad thing is your wrong me and you and everyone watching this are most likely really good . Which means we are the minority or the 1% of community. The casuals are gonna keep spending money on it and they’re gonna keep sbbm up which is really sad.
i think the thing that pisses people off the most is that they spent more time perfecting the SBMM system than they did perfecting the base game before release.
Man. If i get in a lobby where my ping is 40 to 50,i smashing people right and left. But after that game put me in a lobby where people have 5-20 ping and I'm have 100+ ping. Why am i supposed to play with those who have same skills but better connection? It's not my fault that I'm better then players in my region. SBMM is fkn disgusting.
@@chilliface8163 it honestly does more harm than good. since there's no ranked system nobody has any inclination to get better since they're always going up against "sweats" at their respective level. activision fails to see that SBMM doesn't only hurt good players, it also hurts bad ones too.
Yeah bro I went back to playing dragonball fighterz a muuuuch better game and worth investing your time into learning the game cod is just a mess right now. I am really disappointed since I have been playing cond for 10 years.
This and Warzone are the only games that when I play with my good friends/squad we end up cussing each other out by the end of the night Stress levels should not get that high in a casual shooter
i honestly just ended up uninstalling the game due to both the horrible state multiplayer is in and the ping based match making which ended up screwing me over.
I really hope someone will read this: the hidden system is based on movement and/or on how many people you were able to actually damage in a round. How I came to this conclusion: I had a friend play on my PC and he plays very slow and often dies without hitting anyone in a gunfight. He isn't sliding or jumping like me, he rather preaims corners and plays it safe. After he played 2 games and got completely destroyed, I played again and got into a TDM lobby with players who barely moved, BUT managed to kill me everytime, because they preaimed me with AUGs. The lobby played like his playstyle overall. With my agressive playstyle I always ran into their AUGs and went 14-23. Yes, I went negative AND my team lost the game too. I managed to do some damage in gunfights before I died though, even if it was just a few hitmarkers with the Bullfrog. Now, I was sure that with my terrible performance and me losing the game I would have a rather chill next round. But it was the exact opposite. I joined into a game in progress with the ENTIRE enemy team being level 100 and they had streaks up. Could have been a 6-man-party too, who knows. My team had 3 guys with level 100 and 3 others with lower levels (including me). In conclusion: the key difference between me and my friend is that he moves less and slower AND he is usually dying in gunfights without being able to damage anyone. These 2 factors alone were enough to put me into such a brutal lobby. Also funny to mention how my ping went from the first round with 25 to 45 in the second round. I also had 30% packet loss and the connection interrupted symbol when I joined that second round......
Yeah, being matched depending on your input speed makes sense. People who rarely play games barely move and can't aim and move at the same time. Separating them from the regular gamers would actually make sense because they don't stand a chance. That would actually even be somewhat positive side of sbmm.
Money, when people buy stuff they put them in easy lobies, so that the lower levels, see those good ones as gods. Also they think noobs go away from the game when people pub stomp them.
@@sadvenom7826 A lot of the people will get frustrated and leave if that happens. Thing is, those arent customers you are going to retain for years anyway. If you leave over not being good at something on the first try, there will be 100 other reasons to drop CoD.
@Psycho Creep that makes sense if there were purchasable weapons like AW but more then likely it’s an attempt to get people into the COD cycle of dominating one Mach and then getting stomped on the next.

Same. It’s horrible and scummy, the only thing good about this is in the near future hopefully if enough people boycott the battle pass and spam Activision then something will be done. Still doubt it though.
I dont think it should affect your connection that much, as someone with crappy wifinand taking into account the results of the test, it should only be 10 to 20 ping difference with little effect on packet loss
Won’t happen people will still buy that crap. Spend 60 on the game then cod points then gotta buy a new cod a year later all that money goes away then redo the cycle

You make some very solid points, as the game gets more exposure and the player base seeks to be more informed and skilled, there are many questions that beg for an answer. The community looks to content creators like you (as they grow in popularity) to answer those questions and bring to light others. It’s definitely past time where the devs sit down and outline some of the systems and changes to said systems as they have evolved over the years. Also, I want to personally thank you for making my return to CoD a pleasant and well informed one.
I feel like sbmm also really takes the satisfaction out of doing well. I recently had my all time highest kill count, but spent half the match feeling bad since I knew I didn’t belong in that lobby (I was playing with a friend who doesn’t have as much experience as I do).

2 years later it's still relevant... I saw a comment on Ace's video which said it's not skill based matchmaking, it's an engagement optimized matchmaking. It was developed to replace that gambling factor which was previously provided by lootboxes, and activision found that players enjoy gaming sessions where the players appreciate winning more if they lose matches too. Yes, you have a hidden elo score that somewhat mirrors your skill level, but it is not for you getting matched up against people with the same elo score, it's for getting matched up against players whos elo score fits the addiction pattern that they think will make you like the game. When your pattern dictates it's time to have "your fun", you'll face players with lower elo scores, when your pattern requires you to experience defeat, you'll end up matched against highly skilled players. There is even a tiktok video about it, not sure how trustworthy it is though.
I'm glad you're addressing SBMM in such a way. I'm not a high skill player but I've noticed over the past handful of games I've gotten worse and find multiplier unplayable. The bottom protected bracket is essential but I don't think we should be constantly matched with similar skill players. I have to really want to play now whereas I used to just put cod in and switch my mind off to relax, now its more stressful than work.
“Here at Activision, we’re dedicated to providing an environment where everyone can perform similarly. It doesn’t matter if you’ve been playing 10 years or 10 days, we want everyone winning and losing at the same rate, because no one deserves to lose more than anyone else. To ensure this, we’re even willing to sacrifice game performance and match integrity to ensure skilled players only ever come across skilled players. Activision. Your safe space is our priority. How sad industry has become that we as consumers have to choose "better" games, games with less issues than another... Glory days of gaming are over, it was short (2000-2010) but atleast we had to choose among best games, games which had no game-breaking or saddening issues
SBMM has killed objective play in pubs. When everyone is like “what’s the point playing the objective, I’m not in control of my wins anyway, might as well get streaks/grind weapon xp”
Its sad... the whole community vibe is just depressing now.... I would much rather go play Air-soft or Paintball with friends rather than hop in a pub match with them...
Not only that, the scorestreak system. When you're on a streak to get to 8k points, going to the B flag for 100 points won't make a difference. They returned to the scorestreak system, but didn't encourage objective play with this new system. It sucks
I had a great win rate over first 200 games. Like 1.85. But because of that the game has continuously matched me with people that don't play the objective, or teams that are clearly worse than who I'm playing against and now it's a 1.2 something lol

MW SBMM hit my friends and I the other night, I was dropping 2.0 to 6.0 KD matches because I was playing with LMGs and as a result I was playing slower, killing more and dying less. Well SBMM took notice after a few games and dropped us into a 10v10 TDM lobby where one guy dropped 32-2 while the rest of his team couldn't manage over 10 kills and if I'm not mistaken most people in the lobby except for my group had less than 10 kills but I'm not 100% sure on that part. The game really did just decide to hit us with a wacky lobby
Can’t wait for the next Battlefield game where every server is available to you, and you can join any server you want. The BF franchise gets bashed on every now and then, BFV isn’t great; but Battlefield has absolutely no SBMM. That’s pretty rare for modern games. I get no enjoyment from playing Cold War because SBMM, obviously, and the gunplay and realism is a step back in my opinion. So I really hope the next BF game is a home run because last year was a great year of COD for me, a return to form with MW, but CW might be the last COD game I buy after playing the franchise for 11 years. Battlefield has made some of the best FPS games focused on large scale, all out warfare and I hope they can succeed again in 2021.
Fellow BF player here and you hit the nail right on the head dude! So glad there’s no SBMM in BF. I can drink a few beers and casually drop 70 kills in BFV, but when I try this in COD with SBMM, I’ll get 10-15 kills a match and only play one or two games before I’m on the verge of smashing my monitor. Anyways, really hoping for a modern Battlefield this time! Cheers, mate.
There is already some form of SBMM. Dice and EA is testing or experimenting on this. If they seem sastified on their results, they might implement the system in their next title.
Theoretically, since crossplay is a thing and now we have a lot more players on server when compared to xbox live/psn alone, it should find lobbys almost instantly. It doesn’t, game takes a long time to find lobbys its almost like sometimes there are no players available. I think this is the biggest prove of sbmm

Oh and not to mention when you do eventually get into a game, it’s complete sweat, no fun at all and you feel like you’re playing for money every single game. This really destroys the entire call of duty experience, i hope they realize their mistake and remove sbmm
I'm OK with there being a noob lobby where everyone runs around in a clown suit, face paint and all, because then you could be able to tell when people have reverse boosted. But apart from that lobby for the very new players, there should just be the normal lobbies (without SBMM) again. Completely new players joining the CoD franchise today have a much harder time catching up to the 10+ year veterans, than when you joined fresh and the other guys only had 2-3 years of experience, but once you've played for some time in the protected bracket you should be thrown into the pool with the rest of us.
14:51 "Basically almost all the stuff is impossible to do" in said patent driftor says. I disagree and anyone with knowledge of coding and client to server communications would also disagree with that statement. Activision is collecting client data like what you see on websites like tracker.gg which they get from an activistion api so this confirms activision is storing/collecting client data so whats to say they aren't at runtime manipulating accuracy and damage based on player skill? all of the things on said patent are plausible to do with code you just have to have the data first then they can write a system/algorithm to check/change said parameters at run time based on a conditional which would be in simple form is client good or not if so do this else do that. I miss black ops 2 days where SBMM was in its infancy aka it wasn't even close to what it is now back then everyone was closer to an even playing field it came down to skill and connection based matchmaking and the game didn't cuck you if you were good or bad. #BoycottTheBattlePass #AddressSBMM
Finally driftor has joined the dark side! I remember when he used to troll people and say “feels isn’t scientific”... We’ve been telling you this for years with feels alone.

Thanks so much and great work giving the slap to activision!
20:43 I've been playing COD since BO1 and this is one of the reasons I have NOT played Cold War. COD release day is like Christmas and SBMM has ruined that for me!
"The ping and time for matchmaking went up as the skill went up" - This isn't that weird in of itself, though. The higher your skills, the lower the player pool, the more difficult it is to find people near you. The further away people are, the higher the latency from you > server > player and vice versa is. Not to mention how stuff like packet loss and lag compensation factor into these things.
Yeah i was thinking the same thing, the matchmaking times are gonna take longer if you are trying to match with people that are in the top percentile skill wise. The ping thing also seems like it's just shitty equipment on activision's end.
I've been saying for years there should be two playlists: a ranked lobby where you get an actual skill ranking and you play with an emphasis on skill bracket first, ping second. And then a casual random lobby that emphasizes connection and very lightly based on skill, I.E. a complete noob still shouldn't be grouped with a team of nolife pub stomper 16 year olds.
I started lagging out of nowhere in some matches, bullets not registering, recoil was out of control, and it would take an entire clip to take an opportunity out while the opp needed just a couple... smh
Tbh i also had a problem on my aiming ever since i got 1.70 kd. Then i lowered my kd to 1.60 kd and I noticed that I'm hitting my shots again. Idk but it's just a feeling tho
It’s true in Warzone also Most of my time was controller/console with a shitty overall Warzone kd of .87 I switched to keyboard and mouse and found mouse aiming to be much easier than controller so I quickly was able to raise my overall Warzone kd above 1.2 playing on the same linked account Only recently though did I start noticing something was up with my aim. Now I randomly have entire days where it feels something is actively fighting my mouse inputs and making it harder for me to track players and those days I end up average negative kd. I’ve never been a negative kd player since switching to keyboard and mouse so I’m not sure what’s going on In CW I have a 1.67 kd, most play hardcore because the hit detection and amount of damage you must do to your opponent is unreal. Also, by the time you kill a player in regular core the spawns will have most likely flipped so you just go 1 for 1 constantly. Even playing hc I notice after a few good games, I begin getting tons of hit markers but can’t finish kills or my shots just don’t register
It’s the best looking cod behind mw. I prefer cw’s look more because it feels and looks more like cod, unlike mw. But sbmm is ruining this game just like how it ruined mw
@@tdugga8570 So basically what you’re saying is MW’s graphics were too good you prefer them downgraded? Honestly I didn’t like BO4 but at least I could see the enemies, unlike Cold War
The hit reg is awful sometimes on Xbox and the SBMM is seriously noticeable and I’m an average player who likes to play with off meta guns sometimes. My K/D is scraping 1.00 in CW; not a fun experience.
There is an issue however. The algorithm may consider just one of K/D or SPM, but those factors are also intercorrelated, therefore it may appear that the algorithm considers all factors, even W/L. You may have fallen into the 'correlation not causation' trap. But it is definitely clear that there is SBMM, it is not clear which/how many factors it considers
Great video, we really appreciate all that you guys do for this community. I'd just like to share my experience with CW; being an above average player (1.9KD) who only plays solo domination, this game has been nothing but frustrating for me. I know you guys noticed an increase in ping times with your higher skilled accounts, did these matches include more players that seemed to be able to see you earlier than you see them resulting in them shooting you first (on their end) and killing you even though you were already ADS/shot them first? This seems to happen to me most games. I'm from Australia and there's only 1 server location which is in the same state as me so my ping in game is always 20-30ms (I have a direct fibre line) but it feels like I'm playing 100ms+ compared to previous titles which is strange because I don't see a lot of people complaining about this and don't understand why it's happening to me when I have the best ISP in my country and a stable line with no jitter/packet loss. A lot of the time CW takes a while to find me a match and when it does it's connected me to a server in Asia. Sometimes it'll connect Asian players to our server and the entire game feels "choppy". When I do get a local server, I'm usually up against max level sweaty people partied up. If I do well against them, the next game I'm guaranteed to be "playing in the past" where everyone can shoot me before I can even aim, get lots of hit markers or killcam shows my bullets fly around the enemy etc despite having 20-30ms ping. I wouldn't be surprised if these people are from other countries connected to our server, I guess that's why they don't show everyone's ping on the scoreboard. I found that if I join session on my friends they find better connection opponents because they're in a lower skill bracket. CW definitely sacrifices opponent connection quality when you're in a higher skill bracket. Most of the time I'm getting connected to my local server location with 20-30ms ping but the ping of my opponents could be 100+ that's why the game/hit detection just feels off. The only time I've had a comparable connection to previous titles would be the first day or two after both patches dropped. It was almost flawless, felt like I was playing vs local bots being able to 1 burst people and watch them drop as soon as I bursted them never happens during a normal game. It was amazing. I feel like this is probably the connection most people experience when they say the M16 etc is overpowered. Sorry for the long post, hope you read it and can agree or relate to some of my experiences with the data you found. I really hope they fix this game cause those 2 days where it ran great was a better experience than I ever had on MW and a lot of those games towards the end of the year the connection was excellent.
People protesting the SBMM by reverse boosting is exactly why I can't get a lobby where I don't get stomped into the ground by sweaty, max sensitivity meta freaks. The devs are bad? Playerbase is just as scummy
Wth are you talking about? You can't blame anyone for using the dominant strategy. It's the job of the devs to make the meta fun. SBMM is a nightmare. I don't blame anyone who reverse boosts to have at least a little bit of fun.
For me, the combination of high skill causing longer queue times and being in a low population area (Oceanic) really exacerbates the issue. At 2.35 e/d 900 SPM 2 W/L my queues can often take multiple minutes. In a party of 5 high skill players searching for 6 game modes it took over 10 minutes to find a game - Longer than the actual match we played.
I gotta say Drift0r, I've been watching you for a long time now. (Since Ghosts, when I discovered your content.), and this is I feel one of your best, most impactful videos. Kudos to you. I also watched Ace's, and while I appreciate his as well, you went into a lot more depth than he did and I greatly appreciate it. Very informative.
Well, I didn’t have a protected bracket when I first started playing BO1. I got better by playing local multiplayer against bots. There should be no SBMM
“You just need to get good and stop whining about playing against your skill level, there’s absolutely nothing wrong with playing against jumpshotting slide canceling sweats on high ping”
As a casual gamer, I will casually be playing cyberpunk until sbmm receives a massive overhaul. Add a ranked playlist and let the regular lobbies prioritize connection and split skill in lobby.
Back when I started playing cod 10 years ago getting stomped on my high skill players motivated me to get better and now these kids get to pick up the game and play other noobs and there no real reason to get better if your just gonna player better players

At least that meant people used ghost(UAV jammer at the time) less often and it was more of a specialized perk

In Halo MCC in social games, there's no SBMM and I get put into a lobby within 3 seconds and it usually puts me in the server closest to me so I have 28 ping. Cold War on the other hand with it's SBMM purposely puts you in a 50 ping+ if you are doing well. I really hope someone will read this:
the hidden system is based on movement and/or on how many people you were able to actually damage in a round.
How I came to this conclusion:
I had a friend play on my PC and he plays very slow and often dies without hitting anyone in a gunfight.
In conclusion:
the key difference between me and my friend is that he moves less and slower AND he is usually dying in gunfights without being able to damage anyone.

Every game I play hits "expanding search" 5-10 times.
I'm done. I quit.
Address SBMM or I'm gone for good.
I'm really heartbroken that it doesn't take long for me to find a match
Oof lol
Underrated comment hahaha
That last 2 minutes, well said Dtiftor! I agree 100% its low and unexpectable! Love the Video's and appreciate the time you spend.
If you can believe, playing with the provided data is helping study for my DATA201 exam tomorrow, as well a damn good statistical test reference. I am saving this to help with my own stats in environmental technology, and i'm gonna try to conduct the same regressional correlation on my own account! Thanks so much and great work giving the slap to activision!
20:43 I've been playing COD since BO1 and this is one of the reasons I have NOT played Cold War. COD release day is like Christmas and SBMM has ruined that for me!
hope u didnt buy it then
I shared it from a friend i didnt bought any cod sinde bo3
"The ping and time for matchmaking went up as the skill went up" - This isn't that weird in of itself, though.
The higher your skills, the lower the player pool, the more difficult it is to find people near you.
The further away people are, the higher the latency from you > server > player and vice versa is.
Not to mention how stuff like packet loss and lag compensation factor into these things.
Yeah i was thinking the same thing, the matchmaking times are gonna take longer if you are trying to match with people that are in the top percentile skill wise. The ping thing also seems like it's just shitty equipment on activision's end.
BuT SBmM
this is my main complaint about SBMM. you aren't going to be able to compete with people your skill level if you are lagging
Brother, I had a solid 2 k/d, now can't hit the targets even if I emptied the magazine on an enemy, I stopped playing this non-sense
It’s true in Warzone also
Most of my time was controller/console with a shitty overall Warzone kd of .87
I switched to keyboard and mouse and found mouse aiming to be much easier than controller so I quickly was able to raise my overall Warzone kd above 1.2 playing on the same linked account
Only recently though did I start noticing something was up with my aim. Now I randomly have entire days where it feels something is actively fighting my mouse inputs and making it harder for me to track players and those days I end up average negative kd. I’ve never been a negative kd player since switching to keyboard and mouse so I’m not sure what’s going on
In CW I have a 1.67 kd, most play hardcore because the hit detection and amount of damage you must do to your opponent is unreal. Also, by the time you kill a player in regular core the spawns will have most likely flipped so you just go 1 for 1 constantly.
Even playing hc I notice after a few good games, I begin getting tons of hit markers but can’t finish kills or my shots just don’t register
ok..
this explains everything, turns out my wifi still loves me

Omg Cold Wars gameplay looks so outdated
It’s the best looking cod behind mw. I prefer cw’s look more because it feels and looks more like cod, unlike mw. But sbmm is ruining this game just like how it ruined mw
@@tdugga8570 The movement of the players feels like WW2 😬
@Guybrush Threepweed don’t tell that to treyarch fanboys. They don’t get that
@@tdugga8570 So basically what you’re saying is MW’s graphics were too good you prefer them downgraded?
Honestly I didn’t like BO4 but at least I could see the enemies, unlike Cold War
Never said didn’t like mw graphics. They’re great but I prefer cold wars fell over mw. Just my opinion
The hit reg is awful sometimes on Xbox and the SBMM is seriously noticeable and I’m an average player who likes to play with off meta guns sometimes. My K/D is scraping 1.00 in CW; not a fun experience.
Dude when I first started playing my k/d was 1.3 but now it’s 1.02

All RUclipsrs: "I dropped a nuke with the 1 FFAR!"

They NEED to take SBMM out of quick play and add a ranked/competitive mode. Casual lobbies don’t need SBMM
I have been saying since this game came out that it seems like my speeds are being governed and like there is something really different
It effected ping in MW as well in my experience.
It got to the point in mw every match there was atleast 1 player in the lobby with over 250ping- became unplayable until I stopped using meta weapons
I mean not according to their tests. Personally didn’t see any change in ping between MW and previous titles
@@MacTac141 I must have been an outlier then, but I am in the UK
@@buddybleeyes probably worse in places with smaller playerbases
@@AcidAdventurer yeah, I know the UK can have a big player base (for how small the UK is)- but sbmm has probably split that player base alot
This is one of your best videos and I have been watching you for what feels like over a decade
Soo what your saying is I need a “VPN” kind of thing active while I’m playing to keep my stats hidden from Activision 😂

Haha yeah I absolutely hate this take
As a casual gamer, I will casually be playing cyberpunk until sbmm receives a massive overhaul. Add a ranked playlist and let the regular lobbies prioritize connection and split skill in lobby.
Back when I started playing cod 10 years ago getting stomped on my high skill players motivated me to get better and now these kids get to pick up the game and play other noobs and there no real reason to get better if your just gonna player better players
yeah but if the noob gets a high kd in a few games they will be put up against people way better than they are
