I went first week of June. Had to bring winter coat, hat , gloves. You are going to have a great time. Maybe the weather will be really nice and you may not need all the warmer clothes. Can you borrow a larger suitcase for your 2nd check bag to put a the smaller bags in ?

I hate packing!! I think you did a good job. When I go to Alaska I only take one pair of sneakers, but I spray them with waterproofing. I'd like a video showing what you wore vs. what you didn't when you return. I'm trying to stop my habit of overpacking. 😅😅

Hi Edna. Dressing for Alaska is definitely different than dressing for the Caribbean + the clothes are thicker & heavier. Then, there are too many dress/formal nights on Carnival. Hell, you're going to Alaska. Forget the dress clothes. Just pack some warm winter clothes, Lol!! But then again, it might get warm there.
Edna I know you don’t want to repack but take a bigger suitcase you have to pay to check it anyway. AA allows 1 carry on and 1 personal item for free. Maximize all the space you’re allowed.
Since we have 5 days before the cruise I bought 30” suitcases to carry everything and taking only 1 tote each . If it don’t fit Oh Well ! I like Dover Downs ❤
The packing is hard because you can run into 2-3 different weathers in Alaska 🤦🏾♀️ I feel ima be taking 2 bags when we go next month. I'm with you. I'm not a shopper. But I love a casino 🎰 Thanks for sharing ✌🏾
Packing gives me such anxiety! Cubes, rolling, stuffing, tossing, removing, buying more bags...ugh! It's all just too much! I would love a destination where all I need is soap, sunscreen, toothbrush and toothpaste. Period! Nothing Else! no matter how long i plan to stay...why can't life me this simple?

Do you have **compression** luggage cubes? I haven't used them yet, but I've heard really good reviews about them. I plan on using them to pack our family of six clothes in one suitcase.
