    English and Comparative Literature presents the annual Momorial Lecuter to honor Edward Said on his birthday. This year's lecture is delivered by Souleymane Bachir Diagne, professor of French and Romance Philology at Columbia University, titled "Reflections on Philosophy in Africa." Diagne's research and teaching interests include the history of philosophy, philosophy and Sufism in the Islamic world, African philosophy and literature, and twentieth century French philosophy.

    amazing informative lecture thank you Professor Diagne as you master 2 languages or maybe more you have been able to cross boundaries with your knowledge

    Hegel was not a racist, he was a "geographist "...Really....unbelievable statement.
