Travel Vlog Iv is a travel and food video channel. I'm Ivana, nice to meet you! You'll find travel and food videos on this channel because I like to take you along while exploring the world. These videos hopefully make you excited to travel and eat food around the world as well. There's such a joy in getting out of your comfort zone and growing as human being by traveling to new places and eating delicious food you've never tasted before.
I'm currently based in Bangalore because India is my favourite country in the world. Travel in India is kind of my thing but I've been al over the world. Just check these playlists to begin your journey with me: bit.ly/2l4sMk4
FAQ's:
Q Where are you from?
A I am born in former Yugoslavia. Mom is Serbian, Dad is Bosnian. During the '90's war we came to the Netherlands and I got Dutch nationality. I've lived in Amsterdam for 8 years but lost my heart to India. Since 2018 I'm based in Bangalore. See this video for my refugee story: bit.ly/2l17T9h
Q How can you afford to travel so much?
A I saved for 3 years while working full time and now travel vlogging is my job. I work together with tourism agencies but also do some freelance work on the side. You can watch this video: • HOW TO TRAVEL THE WORL... and this one: • HOW TO SAVE MONEY FOR ... to learn more about my story.
Q What camera do you film with and what editing software do you use?
A Canon G7X Mark II and Final Cut Pro X
Q (Why) Are you vegetarian?
A I'm vegetarian but not strict. I don't eat any meat, fish, cooked/boiled or fried eggs. I gradually became a vegetarian over the course of 15 years because I disliked the taste of meat more and more. After doing a yoga teacher training in 2015 I also quit fish and the eggs. No matter my food preferences I have no issues with other people not being vegetarian. I don't judge others and kind of expect the same favor from others concerning my own food preferences. It makes for a more friendly world :-)
Q Why do you usually travel alone?
A Because my friends have jobs with limited holidays, kids and partners. Also I really like exploring on my own.
Q Why do you love India so much?

It is your dream and I stay here but not traveling only two time I go I hope you complete your dream
Nothing great
What a coincidence, just opened RUclips to check ur video and u just uploaded it. It’s like a connection😜
Settled in USA but originally a Mumbaikar. 😁 Nothing can replace home 🏡. Thank you 😊 for this video, made my day.
This was wonderful! As a mumbaikar, I can tell you that you've covered most of the important places to visit. I would also recommend you to go Colaba causeway for shopping which I feel, is much better than Linking Road. Colaba causeway is only a 5 min walk from the gateway of India and has some of the best clothes and accessories at cheap prices. But make sure you bargain or you'll get ripped off haha.Visiting marine drive when it's raining at night is one of the most phenomenal experiences I've ever lived. I absolutely adore this video and I can see how much effort you've put into this just by the editing itself.
Thank you so much, this means a lot!!! Every time I tell myself I'm finally going to go to Colaba Causeway and still haven't gotten around to it. I guess I just have to go back😁
I was a mumbaikar since birth and now in Chicago, IL USA. Missing Mumbai a lot and will be visiting in Feb-March 2022
Enjoy!
Nobody fails to mention Shah Rukh when talking about India, and it's amazing!! ❤
0:38 Mumbai is her favorite place in the world!
No doubt Mumbai is ❤❤ .. But the most i Enjoyed is the Way of Narration by Ivana 😍😍👍👍👍

Awesome! Hope you have the best time
It's raining in Mumbai. Hope you enjoy your tour😂
Ivana, being a Mumbaikar myself, I don't think I have enjoyed so much... ur detailed narration made the entire tour so magical that I want to explore Juhu beach and Marine drive once again... even though I am a Lokhandwala girl!!
R u a resident of Mumbai? I happen to subscribe to your channel only yesterday.
Will be traveling soon to India... really excited. Will definitely take these tips and comment my experiences later... cheers from South Africa

Mumbai is not just a city. Its an emotion :')
I am what you’d call a ‘mumbaikar’ - a citizen of mumbai; and this video encapsulates some of the best aspects of mumbai. I have lived in this city all my life and this is quite accurate. Marine drive is one of the best things about this city and the food recommendations are also on point. 👍
Thanks!
Few minutes silence for those who disliked this Awesome Video🙏😂😂😂😂😂
Awesome video , garbage of a city
They might be Delhiites coz they are jealous 😂😂😂😂😂😂
Saamir Syed jealous of garbage smell everywhere and slummy people walking all around

So it's hurt when someone defame my beloved homeland.. No hard feeling..
Soryy if I hurt ur sentiment.
U r not like the other u tubers those who only goes to the dark side or the poor side of the country & shows it in front of The world....
Like BBC they shows only the poor side of the country so everyone in foreign thinks that we are poor but that's not true . Mumbai is the 12th richest city in the world
Anyway thanks for showing our city in such a beautiful way ❤
Visit again Kolkata, Gurguon, Noida Next time love from India 🇮🇳❤
wow...thanx for sharing about "City of Dreams" i.e.Mumbai 's beautiful side
My pleasure, love the city!

3:15 relaxed atmosphere indeed
I am heading to Gujarat and I decided to Stop by at Mumbai because of this video.. nice vlog. I'm looking forward to do both South and North .. see you soon Mumbai..
Good explanation of Mumbai in just 15 minutes. I like it whare visited first time after your explanation. Thanks you Evana, you are beautiful..
I was in Colaba for five years. I Love Mumbai. Memories are so sweet. Once you come to Mumbai you will not like to go away.
Love from Mumbaikar❤️
Whenever you make video on Mumbai..i feel so happy..remebered one of the incidents in which I laugh so hard when you ate icegola for the very first time the wrongway and you said *I am such a tourist.*
Hahah aww thank you and yes that was super funny🤣
Yes,,, I too love marine drive... its kind of place where you can walk alone and feel to talk with your mind while you can sense calmness of sea.. !
Global Vipassana Pagoda
Haji Ali - A mosque located in the middle of sea which is accessible by a Concretized walkway with sea on both sides for approx 1 km. If you wish not to enter the mosque, then you can just hangout on the rocky seashore besides the mosque away from coast.
( Hygiene & cleanliness is the only thing that this place lacks :p otherwise its beautiful)
Best time - During sunsets & Monsoon
National Park - Not a park, but a huge forest right in middle of the city. Mountains, Caves, Wildlife, Lakes etc etc
Elephanta Island - Accessible by a ferry ride in the arabian sea from gateway of India
CST - UNESCO world heritage site (Quite popular in Bollywood movies)
Colaba causeway, Fashion street, Mount Mary Basilica , Siddhivinayak & Mahalaxmi Temples and many more
Thank you so muvh!
Nice video. It is a good traveling guide for people like to visit in Mumbai. We expecting more videos like this from you

Really nice observations Ivana. Just wanted to tell you something about food for monsoon in India. You can try and check for recommendation from your close friends. Hi-tea snack - Masala tea with pakoda ( panner/onion/ green chilli/ dal/pampkin/ green peas), samosa, aloo bada, mirchi bada. Whole 🌽 corn generally you find near roadside stall or you can make it on your kitchen burner also - corn cooked on burning coal, marinated with red chilly powder, salt in some chat masala. One of your favourite dishes pan cake also has a indian version in rainy season known as malpua ( it is desert, eaten hot). You have already achieved a way with indian food. But there is next level of enjoyment to it. Time, season and view of nature also has a deep impact on elobrating the flavour of food you eating that moment. So next if it is raining in evening around 4-5PM. Try masala tea and pakoda's sitting in your balcony. It will give a different vibe. Certainly a happy one. And if you are planning trip to Udaipur plz do let me know. As it is good time to visit a bit end of rainy season. Lakes will be full and it will be lush green. Take care. Happy monsoon!
Awww thank you so much!!!
Yummm tibbs Frankie at Churchgate, memories are flooding in
Planiram ostati 2 nedjelje. Pozdrav iz Londona 😉
E hvala puno i kako divno! Ako hocete odmor Goa i Mumbai su dovoljno putovanje za 2 nedelje. Uzivajte!
Foreigners might think seeing slums in mumbai that mumbai is poor. Guys its one of the most richest city in the world. It has all world trade centre and poshness inside.
The usual drill. Hit like before you watch the video. It's guaranteed to be good. Never failed me. You go girl!😊😇
Awww thank you!!!

Thank you!
Very good and informative Video. Keep it up.
What a great travel Video.. you sound so professional and the shots are awesome! This video brought back so many great memories of Mumbai! I went to Colege in Colaba and took the 2cnd class train from Andheri West daily so I agree with you that it is an unforgettable experience. I would have Chai at the Andheri platform and sometimes would stop at various stations to pick up snacks. Who can forget those famous Bombai Masala sandwich. There was a sandwich Walla just outside our college and he was swarmed at lunchtime. Juhu/Marine drive is also an unforgettable experience. Bandra is the home to many stars.. not just Shah Rukh! One thing I recommend for visitors is to go see a Hindi movie at the theatre even if Hindi is not understood. Nightlife is also big in Mumbai. Although I am not a bar goer, my friends and I would often visit them in the weekend just to spot Bollywood stars!
Ahhhhh you're making me miss Mumbai so much!!!
Nicely edited and compiled video...good job....so hope to see similar Delhi video soon.
Thank you so much and yes Delhi video's definitely coming up
One day I will be there
Mumbai is the best in the world 😍💕
Have you visited powai, a suburb near andheri? It's really very beautiful
Hi Ivana, I used to live in mumbai, thanks for the vlog I was really missing mumbai
Nice... The video perfectly sums up the best of Mumbai for outsiders, it doesn't mention somethings in Mumbai though, lots of great shops and shopping malls, multiplexes, restaurants, you'll find all world cuisines here in Mumbai, amazing restaurants and cafés here. Then there is the new bombay aka Navi Mumbai, beautiful New city right next to Mumbai, very well planned city.
Thank you! Time is not on your side to see all those things. I've been to Mumbai more than 8 times now and still have a ton of things I never saw. That's the beauty of the city though; never boring
I have been to juhu beach, a 12 year old solicited yourself to me. I had a sandwich at church Gates train station and that made me terribly sick right away.
Just got back from Mumbai, was able to see most in your video
Yay!
Kelva Beach, Explore that place to if u haven't visited that yet, The Sunset of that palce of Awesome, Going there was Not easy Bcoz the place was out of the City but the place is worth visiting
I'm living in Mumbai and still watching this don't know why 🙄🤣🤣🤣
