If you cut off that little bit of a biro tube that has no ink in it I think you'll be in business. Or you could spend your money, whatever floats your boat.
Thanks for the video! Does this work as well as putting holes on each side? seems less confusing. And do you always use a silicone tube off the back to hold the hook to the fly?
Hi Patrick, I always use a silicon tube. As far as hole position goes, I don't really have an opinion either way as I don't do much hitch fishing. I tied these like this for a customer who says it's better.
Where do you buy the tubes to do these kinds flies ?and what’s the name they are usually called when looking up the tubes?
